Super Hotel Imabari — Hotel in Imabari

About a 20 minute walk from Imabari station, this was a good place to freshen up after we cycled the shimanami kaido. This hotel was clean, bright and had plenty of amenities.We loved the free drink offering (6:30-8:30PM), and the beds were very comfy. My only complaint is the general cheaper construction. For example, the shower head fell off as soon as I turned it on and had to fix it in order to use it. The bathrooms are a bit cramped, but typical for a business hotel. The pillows are typical Japanese pillows, so they're very hard, but they had plenty of pillows at the front desk that you could take for your room which was great. The breakfast was pretty good, but even by 8:00AM with 30 minutes left there was very little food left and it wasn't replenished, which was a bit of a shame with a whole...

Great value. The amenities bar and welcome drinks were generous. Our room had a comfortable sitting area as well as the bed. There is a huge selection of special pillows to choose from. The breakfast has a good coffee and beverage machine. The reception staff and cleaners were all very friendly and professional. There is bicycle parking. There is a grocery store behind the hotel. Super Hotel lives up to its name. Super friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Nice onsen. Comfy bed. Deluxe double room is roomy enough for two Americans and their excessive luggage.
