International Garden Hotel Narita Review||||My experience at the International Garden Hotel Narita was enjoyable and comfortable. Here’s a detailed review:||||1. Shuttle Bus: The hotel provides an excellent shuttle bus service to the airport and city center, making transportation convenient and hassle-free.||||2. Room Quality: The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy, with perfect amenities for its category. It offers everything needed for a pleasant stay.||||3. Convenient Stores: Having a 7-Eleven within the hotel lobby and a Mini Stop just a short walk away is a great convenience for guests, providing easy access to snacks, drinks, and other essentials.||||4. Night Walks: The area around the hotel is pleasant for a breezy night walk, adding a nice touch to the overall experience.||||5. Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet, while good, does not change its menu, which might become monotonous for longer stays.||||6. No Swimming Pool: One downside is the absence of a swimming pool, which some guests might miss.||||7. Value for Money: Overall, the hotel offers good value for money and is worth it for the services and amenities provided.||||In summary, the International Garden Hotel Narita provides a comfortable stay with spacious rooms, convenient stores, and a reliable shuttle service. My flight from NRT arrived in the evening, so I arranged an overnight stay with breakfast here to rest after the long flight from Vancouver, BC Canada due to their regular shuttle service from NRT, close distance, and great value/rates.
Staff were great, rooms were old, but spacious and clean.
Figuring out the room light situation was tricky, and even in the end, I didn’t know how to turn off all the lights without taking out the card from the power slot at the entrance. The light dials on the nightstand only controlled the lights directly above the beds.
Small 7-11 for convenience items, but no slurpees (is that even a thing in Japan?).
Breakfast was buffet style, good selection of Japanese/western.
The biggest thing for me though, is that they have a Yamaha grand piano in the lounge.
I don’t know how regularly they have it tuned, the electronic functions weren’t working, but I don’t use them, and it played fine for me.
I was on my way to Hiroshima, and my next hotel was already booked, so I had to leave and shuttle bus back to NRT, and be on my way.
Also, my wife and son really liked our stay there due to the spacious rooms, beautiful decor, plus amenities like the gym, which are a rarity compared to a typical, cramped, urban city, Japanese hotel, and want to come back.
Looking forward...
Read moreInternational Garden Hotel Narita offers a great overall experience, though its location is somewhat inconvenient. The rooms are spacious (28㎡, large for Narita), clean, and comfortable, with duvet bedding, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and refrigerators, designed in a simple, modern style perfect for relaxation. The staff are friendly, fluent in English, and efficient with check-in/check-out, making it ideal for business travelers or airport layovers. The Avanti restaurant serves a tasty Italian-themed buffet breakfast (with ample Japanese and Western options) at reasonable prices. The hotel provides a free airport shuttle (about 15 minutes, via Hilton Tokyo Narita), which is punctual and convenient for Narita Airport or JR Narita Station. However, it’s about 1.2 miles from JR Narita Station (20-25 minute walk), with limited nearby bus stops and taxis hard to find, which can be challenging for non-drivers or those with luggage (e.g., elderly family members). A 7-11 and Mini Stop are nearby, and AEON Mall or Naritasan Shinshoji Temple are a 20-minute walk, but the area isn’t as lively as downtown. If you prioritize airport proximity and comfy rooms, this hotel offers great value, but plan...
