The Pool Resort Okinawa — Hotel in Onna

As I write this I’m awake at this hotel unable to sleep for so many reasons.

Spend your money at a nice resort! Do not stay here with your family if you’re wanting comfort, safety or cleanliness.

The air quality in the upper floor is so bad I’m holding my beach towel on my face to filter out some of the dust. There are exposed beams with layers of dust and dirt so thick the room smells of old dust and causing me to sneeze and itch. I can see the layers of dust and it’s disgusting.

My husband is trying to sleep downstairs because he refuses to lay under the beams because the dust is falling down onto the bed.

Our 2 children are asleep or we would have left this hotel.

The photos on Instagram and everywhere else of this hotel are extremely deceiving! The pool is small, old and run down.

The walls are so thin I can hear everything going on in the room next door.

This place is one step away from a bad campsite. We paid $200 for this stay and I would have given zero stars if I could.

I’m just sick that we spent money here and our valuable time.

Very disappointing stay. Except for very good wifi there's little that's good here. ||||Room is not comfortable and poorly arranged. Need to walk through galley kitchen to get to bathroom. Bathroom is tiny, even for Japan. ||||It has cooking facilities, but need to request extras such as plates, spoons, etc. They did not provide extra glasses/cups so stuck with one bathroom cup for entire stay. Not that it matters as nearest supermarket is over 30 minutes drive. Front office staff sent us to Lawsons (like 7-11) which was a 10-minute walk down the hill.||||Bedroom smelled like mold, even after running the AC. ||||They charge extra for many things that are normally standard. Nespresso machine in room, but they charge extra for capsules. No possibility of late checkout with out more charges. ||||Staff did not know where we could rent or book snorkeling trips.They sent us to a pretty bad beach. It was close, but there are so many other nicer options. ||||There is also no breakfast or other food service on site except for cup...
