Shogun Burgers: A Samurai's Feast of Flavor
Forget everything you thought you knew about burgers. Shogun Burgers isn't playing around. This is where the art of burger crafting reaches its peak. Imagine sinking your teeth into a masterpiece: a Wagyu beef patty, piled high with cheese, crisp bacon, and caramelized onions, all nestled in a perfectly toasted bun. This isn't just a burger; it's a culinary symphony. And let's talk about that Wagyu. You can practically taste the richness and marbling. Read moreGood burgers but the system here is driving me crazy. Closed 20:00 but last order often 19:30 (they won‘t let you in after that. Of course I don‘t expect them to let you dine inside if you come 19:50 or something but at least a take away option would be nice). I am vegetarian and often times they are „sold out“ of the vegetarian/plant based option. Although I think it really has to do with how staffed they are and at what time you go. They close after lunch a bit before opening up again. I was there once before lunch closure, and they didn‘t have the vegetarian burger due to being understaffed. Went again one time at about 19:25, and again, no vegetarian options available anymore. (That night also many other meat based options were not available). What a pity to offer a big menu but often only half the items are really available. I couldn‘t even get large fries, only regular ones. Probably could have ordered 2 regular fries for the same outcome, wonder what the logic behind that was 😂 (Staff is very friendly, minus 1 star though because of the constant missing items...
Read moreDidn’t get to eat. As with many restaurants in Japan, they have split hours or only dinner hours. We checked online and saw their hours 11 am - 8 pm. I attached pics to show the hours of other restaurants literally in the same plaza.
Why did we check the hours before deciding to go to this burger joint around 3:53 pm, because it’s HOT!!!
We walked for 12 mins in the Okinawa heat, get there, and despite their hours showing open they were “closed” preparing for dinner at 5 pm.
Sweaty and hungry we wanted to wait so we asked if we can sit inside. No.
Many times the reputation of their food warrants some attitude from the staff.
Reading the reviews I see their food is not worth our time and money. It was a good thing we didn’t wait more than an hour to dine there.
7-11 in same plaza to the rescue.
I’m happy to answer questions. After we finished shopping at 7-11 we walked out to find other disappointed potential customers leaving after finding out they...
