Toyoko Inn Fujisan Otsuki-eki — Hotel in Otsuki

The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Otsuki station (a bit longer if the train crossing gates are down).It's a large comfortable room, modern and with a great hot shower. This is a great alternative to the overpriced hotels of Kawaguchiko during the height of cherry blossom time.Added bonus, at night time this is a small town accustomed to very few foreigners spending the night and you will surely get the feel of small town Japan lifestyle and kindness.I was at a restaurant with zero menu English and zero spoken English, yet at the end of the meal the owner gave me a very nice gift. That was a beautiful memorable moment of my time in Japan. Buffet Breakfast is included in the price at the hotel and on some days it was pretty good. Staff's English was not the best but they were patient and helpful during the check in procedure.Seeing Mt. I rented a couple of double rooms for a hiking trip. The room and bathroom are spacious and provides amenities like nightgowns, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. The hairdryer was very useful for drying our shoes/bags after a thunderstorm. The breakfast goes from 6:30am-9am but you can still get coffee/tea until around 10am. The luggage storage is in free lockers on the first floor where you set your own code. The hotel is an easy-to-find giant rectangle, it's only about 8min walking distance to the station and close to many restaurants as well. The only slight inconvenience was that (for my tastes) the bed was quite firm and the pillow too thick to use...

2022年3月31日オープンということで、開業記念価格で宿泊する機会を得ました。||シングルのほかにツインやトリプル、ファミリールームや、極めつけはペット同伴（小型犬）できる部屋も用意されています。（宿泊条件あり。）||今のところ建物の西半分で営業し、東半分の内装工事は行われていないようです。（ドアで仕切られそこには「Private」と表示されています。）||今後の利用客の動向を見て増室するのでしょうか。||今回はデラックスツイン（28平米）の部屋を予約しました。||通常のツインが15平米の広さに対し、これが倍近くの広さになります。ソファーとテーブルも備えられています。バスルームも広めで、レインシャワーも装備されていました。||テレビは大きめのテレビが設置されています。山梨県は民放の地上波テレビが東京に近いのに、日本テレビ系のYBS山梨放送とTBS系のUTYテレビ山梨の二局しかありません。山梨県民の多くはケーブルテレビに加入することで東京のテレビを楽しんでいます。（ケーブルテレビの現状 - 総務省令和3年9月版によると山梨県のCATV加入率は82.9％　徳島県・大阪府に次いで全国第3位です。）できればCATVで全国ネット局は見られるようにして欲しいものです。||バスルームの欠点は、広さがあるのに洋式便器が異様に小さいことです。||寸法を測ったわけではありませんが、普段泊る別のビジネスホテルの小さめの便器よりさらに小さい気がしました。おしりの位置合わせがこの小ささでは体格が大きな外国人は正しく用が足せないのではないかと心配です。||富士山エリアであり、コロナ禍が収束したら外国人観光客にも期待できる立地でもあるので改善に期待したいものです。||大月市は、関東在住の者にとっては知名度がある市だと思います。中央高速道路は河口湖方面が分岐、鉄道は、大月駅から富士山麓電気鉄道（...
