メキシコ風居酒屋to-mo. — Restaurant in Otsuki

I was surprised to find a Mexican restaurant in Otsuki! The tacos are tasty. It's convenient to order only the fillings you like. However, the price is quite high. I understand the need to make a profit, but charging ¥390 for a few slivers of cheese (and it looks and tastes like processed cheese) and the same for a small amount of jalapeño pepper slices is too much. My bill was nearly ¥2,400 for four tacos (no drink). The chili con carne contained potatoes and eggplant, which I don't believe are traditional. Still, the taste was good. The corn tortillas were excellent, fried to a perfect crunchiness. However, don't expect them to be in the popular and convenient U-shape. They are served flat—a bit tricky to eat. The place is small, but that's not uncommon for Japan. My server was obviously new and being trained. タコスを頼むとメインとソースが別に出てきて自分で乗せて食べるスタイル。 トッピングは別料金だがそこそこボリュームがある。 タコスはハードシェル派ですがソフトもおいしかった。 1枚各90円。 揚げたてで出してくれたし、メニューの説明もしてくれて丁寧に仕事していると感じた。

軽い食事のつもりで入ると高くつく。
