When you enter, the lobby is absolutely beautiful. However there was nobody outside to help with the luggage. The first thing that stood out to me was the bruised and torn sofa sitting in the middle of the lobby, it was badly damaged. I'm curious why they still leave it here. When you get into the room, the signs of I'll maintained furniture continues with the floor boards, cupboards and other furniture looking well beyond their years. The bed frame was simple and cheap, and the mattress and pillow was thin and hard. Nothing seemed to say "I care for my customers, more like "let's not spend any more money".

This is probably one of the most ill maintained japanese hotels at this price point yen 20,000 I have ever been to in my lifetime in Japan.

On the other hand, breakfast was pretty good. This I have to admit. So 4 stars...

This is an interesting hotel with a mixture of modern and old style. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lounge was the highlight and you can enjoy drinks and snacks unlimited! I was not as impressed by the dinner however - we chose the sit down kaiseki option. Some of the food was already on the table when we got there and there was barely time to sit down before we had to start eating. Given there were so many items already on the table it felt so rushed throughout. We ordered Sapporo classic but something was off and the beer tasted very strange and cloudy. Even after the second glass this was the same. Eventually the chef brought us a glass from another server and it was good but felt the lack of staff experience in knowing what normal beer should look like. Breakfast options were not large...

Even if I only stayed for one night, I wouldn't choose this hotel again.

When I looked at the photos on Rakuten, it seemed traditional yet relatively clean. However, after checking in and entering the room, I found that the bed frame could easily be moved, and the mattress was just a very thin layer. The room also felt unclean, making my skin itchy. The chair next to the bed seemed like it hadn't been cleaned for ten years...

We tried asking the staff to upgrade to another room for an additional fee, but the mattress in the new room was still very thin...

Fortunately, dinner was quite good.

However, I will not consider this hotel again. I recommend everyone to carefully check reviews before making a...
