KKR Kawayu — Hotel in Teshikaga

The quality of onsen was the best I have tried! Although it was a little too hot, but I loved it. It was in the evening when I went for my onsen. The lights were switched off when I went in initially. I switched on the lights but it was still a little eerie because I was alone inside the onsen. I really wanted to use the big onsen bath but it was too misty with all the condensation and I could not see where was the bath. It all looked too creepy and I ended up using the smaller onsen bath which was meant for only two people. I could see yellow sulphuric deposits at the water outlet. The taps at the bathing area were awfully corroded. It was the creepiest onsen I have ever been to in Hokkaido but it was also the best quality onsen. The ryokan room only has a tap for brushing and a toilet bowl. If you need a bath, you have to do it at the onsen. I went to the onsen for a bath in the morning and it was a lot less creepy as the heavy mist was gone. KKRに宿泊するのは知人の伝手で熱海に宿泊して以来●十年ぶり。|前日に宿泊したホテルが豪華だったので|自身がどう感じるか少し不安でしたが、快適に宿泊できました。|||建物|昭和の保養所のようなスタイルですが、|他の方の口コミ通り内部はリノベーションされているのか新しくきれいでした。|３階建て、温泉は地下１階にありいずれもエレベーターが１台設置されています。|ロビーには椅子席と小さなお子さん用のプレイエリアがありました。|||室内|室内もきれいに改装されていました。|浴衣や入浴用の薄い手拭いに昭和を思い出しました。|トイレとは別室で浴槽付きバスルームあり。|湯上り用の浄水ポットの氷水はとてもおいしい水でした。|ちなみに湯沸かし用ポットは水道水です。||夏場の宿泊で一番注意する点は、|部屋に冷房設備がなく扇風機のみであることです。|エアコンが無いことは宿泊側からも事前に念押しされており、|冷房好きな私ですが北海道だから大丈夫かと思ってましたが、|今回の旅行時は予想に反して連日蒸し暑く当日不安でしたが|夜はシャワーだけにし扇風機のMAX送風にしたら眠ることができました。||冷房はロビー周りはあります。|廊下にはなく窓を開けているので外からの硫黄のにおいが入ります。||温泉|早朝のみ温泉に。早朝のためか無人でした。|屋内と露天風呂とあり、この規模としては十分な広さでした。|硫黄のにおいが強い温泉はとても気持ちがよく|子供の頃に行った万座温泉を思い出しました。|||食事|朝食を１階の食堂で頂きました。|部屋によりテーブルが決まっており、予め用意されていました。|品数は十分で白米やお味噌汁はおいしく満腹となりました。|||総評|施設柄関係者の宿泊が多いのかなと想像しましたが、|ＯＢと思われるようなご高齢の方をお見掛けしたものの|一般利用の方も多いようで、玄関前にはたくさんの|バイクが駐輪し若い人達も見掛けました。||そして冷房、夕食なしとはいえハイシーズンでもお得に宿泊でき、|温泉がとてもよく部屋はきれいと大変コスパの良いお宿でした。|||次回は冷房を心配しなくても済む時期に|ゆっくりと温泉浸かりに再訪したいです。|お世話に...
