Reasonable Price but Confusing Air Conditioning Design
This hotel offers a low price and spacious rooms, which I have no complaints about.
However, what really puzzled me was the air conditioning design — the airflow was directed toward the entrance area, not into the room itself. During the 37°C summer heat, I had the AC running for several hours, yet the room remained uncomfortably warm.
I truly don’t understand the point of such a setup. It made the stay quite uncomfortable, and I hope the hotel addresses this issue — otherwise, it’s hard to recommend staying here...
Read moreLove the location by the main street. This hotel is pretty much the center of the city. Very close (about 10 mins walking) to start of Bizan mountain hiking trail. I came for a leisure/vacation, seeking overall quiet passing of time moments and this hotel made it perfect. I love the antique feel all around the building, giving me 80s vibe with its radio, AC, for example. I appreciate the restaurant in the first floor, room, staffs, everything worked out great for me. Read moreI was on the 9th floor room. The hotel is in an old building, so the bathroom was a bit old. However, the room had a panoramic wide view with one side of the room was only windows, so it had a spectacular view.
Amenities are the basic you get in a business hotels in Japan. But the rooms are more spacious than the usual business hotels.
Staff were polite and helpful. I would recommend this if you are on a budget.
