We stayed here for Christmas 2023, while visiting Japan over the holidays. It's a self-serve homestay, but whoever is responsible for contact with guests was helpful, and always easy to reach.
The location is great, with a convenient walk to the nearest train station, and several nice places to eat, as well as grocery options between the two.
If you can tolerate doing things on your own, or like to feel like you've lived [however briefly] in a place, I highly recommend!
I hope to stay there again, some day!
