Read moreThe room was not what I was expecting, however, I loved it. The room size was a lot smaller than what was depicted in the pictures. I would think it is one of the smaller ones available, but I did not see the other rooms for comparison. I am not that tall and neither is my wife, so the room was...our size. Room was clean and well kept by the daily service provided. The front desk was helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Location was awesome. To Shinjuku, it is about 15 minutes by train. To Disneyland, it is about 45 minutes to an hour. The location of the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores. It is right next to a train station, its only loud if you keep the windows open. There is a grocery store and bakery nearby, best part of the location really. And then there's the Asagaya Strip, where you can find a load of things. I'd stay here again and this was my first trip to Japan. To the staff, thank you for everything, this was a great trip....
Read moreStayed here the prior year so figured I would come back again. Stayed 2 weeks this year!. Really close to the train station which is very convenient. You can Hear the train once in awhile, but not enough to bother you. I Stayed in a semi double room which was perfect for me because I was a solo traveler. They have coin operated drink machines on most levels, some also have alcohol in them. Staff was friendly and helpful. Staff are able to speak enough English to help you with what you need. They also have 2 washer and dryer which are coin operated, you do not have to add detergent because the machine does it automatically. Alot of great small restaurants in the area. You are about 15 min train ride to shinjuku. I liked staying in asagaya because it's a little quieter at night and not super packed with people, like in downtown tokyo. Price was great for me, saved alot of money staying at this location. I will most definitely be staying here again next year when...
