This is the tallest building in Tsu so the views are great.
If you like Japanese food, breakfast is fantastic! Half-buffet of salad/fruit/rice/miso soup/yogurt, bento box of salted salmon and preserved vegetables, a small beef sukiyaki pot, and a choice of two local hot dishes that seem to rotate seasonally. If you prefer western breakfast you're gonna be SOL (but really, what are you expecting in this part of Japan). Breakfast choices are labeled in English.
As of early 2023 they are still doing COVID protocol with gloves at the buffet, plastic dividers, etc.

I can't remember if the signs had English or not. Checking in was simple and efficient as it always is in Japan and it is pretty standard when it came to service. The room, while small by US standards is really quite large by Japanese standard. The train station 17 floors below the window is like a train set. Nice views out to the settign sun (and setting moon). Laundry service was used twice - clothes back that evening (collect from reception).
