This is the econd time we have stayed at Eldon Villas - the first being for four weeks in March 2020. ||I have found on both occasions Eldon Villas to be very good value for money in terms of the size of the apartment and the service received. Our second stay was better than the first due to the staff changes made between 2020 and 2022. The new staff staff Team are much more professional - very helpful, kind and friendly. We had one slight misunderstanding relating to visitors - however once the management understood that we were receiving family visitors (my wife is Kenyan and we used Eldon as a base for hosting visiting family members) there were no further issues.||The accommodation is large, comfortable and excellent value for money. The cleaning staff were very friendly - and by the time we left we were virtually on first name terms with them all. Similarly, the management team were able to respond to all our requests quickly, efficiently and provide a good outcome.||Disregard the reviews that suggest that the accomodation is poor - it is excellent value for money. Spacious apartments, cleaned daily. Bed sheets and towels changed twice per week and the rooms cleaned to a high standard. ||A very welcome additon since 2020 is the excellent restaurant - we had several meals delivered to the apartment and they were superb!!||Eldon Villas is very close to The Junction Mall which is another plus - and the security staff are very efficient - whilst still friendly and helpful.||I cannot recommend Eldon Villas highly enough in terms of value for money, safety and security, friendliness of staff, and great location. Two other things that need to be mentioned - there is a delightful pool in the complex and you are able to swim daily between 8am and 6pm. The pool area has seating to allow sunbathing and it is a quiet haven of tranquility allowing you to relax and enjoy the sun - there is also a very well equipped gym which i beleive is open 24/7.||Collins, Mercy and co - you are doing an excellent good job at Eldon Villas!! We felt kept hostage. My wife and I were booked at Eldon Villas several times earlier back in 2019 the first time. We came back because people appeared friendly and the hotel is acceptable value for money. This year our stay was scheduled from Jul 29th to Aug 13. We cancelled half way. What happened? The coffee maker glass pot broke. The request for payment we received was close to $50. A ridiculous request. I went bought a new coffee maker price $32. Assuming the case is clarified now we were not allowed leaving the hotel. The staff insisted to get the equal coffee maker replaced. They insisted replacing a device often used and several years old with a brand new one. As said the hotel exit remained closed for us. I clearly protested being brought into this situation feeling kept hostage. Any try to achieve acceptance for the replacement I brought was not heard after two hours. Being caught in this situation for more than 2 hours I accepted payment of 4,000KES. After the payment and receiving mpesa confirmation of the money transfer, the nightmare was still not over. Due to whatever reason the hotel software had no reading of my payment, however MEPSA was confirmed on my end which I forwarded to the hotel. Still they kept us fixed behind closed doors for additional 30min. This experience lead to our decision for cancelling our booking at Eldon Villas, looking for another hotel. I can not recommend this place also not for people using it frequently like us. There was no apologise from the staff to this matter, ignoring customer attempt and good will. Eldon Villas was happy to let go $400 for our remaining stay but to squeeze us paying 4,000KES for an old pot, not accepting customers replacement and even worse holding the customer closed in he place. My conclusion, there is no 'good customer" for Eldon Villas existing. They don't trust customers even after years of good business. This is the third time I've stayed at Eldon Villas and Apartments. I can say that I really loved it first time, and it keeps getting better every time I come. I've been here 4 weeks this time and still here . I don't want to leave . The staff are to a person very friendly, kind and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for them if you need to enquire about something. You also have a 24 hour reception staff and a direct line to them. Security is tight with 24 hour guards who are also friendly and polite. The maintenance staff and gardeners who look after the grounds and swimming pool do a fantastic job. The complex gardens near the pool are an absolute oasis of beauty..the best I've seen anywhere in Nairobi. They work all day every day on its upkeep and the gardens, trees flowers and patios are beautiful. The swimming pool is a good size and cleaned immaculately every day. The location could not be better...5 minutes walk to the large and impressive Junction Mall on Ngong Road. Also right next door to the excellent bar and restaurant called ' Brew Bistro' where I went every night. The apartments themselves are huge , very comfortable and have smart tv with Netflix and YouTube etc and a lovely big balcony and full kitchen and lounge facilities. They have a new on site restaurant and staff since the last time I was here. Open from early morning till evening the food and service is superb and they also deliver your choice cooked to your apartment if requested. I thoroughly recommend this apartment complex if you come to stay in Nairobi for any reason- business or pleasure.
