Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, complimentary water in rooms, and the suite had a fridge. Quiet, great for a good nights sleep. Gated with security.
The staff went above and beyond, my stay here was wonderful and unforgettable experience! Front desk staff were amazing, especially Lisette (I misspelled her name), Susan, Jane, Ken, Graham, Meshack, I can't remember all their names. Every single staff member that I encountered during my stay was very kind and helpful, especially the wait staff. They lent me an adapter, made my stay more comfortable. They celebrated my birthday in such a sweet way!
Rooftop pool, well maintained, bar and restaurant on this floor too but everything is well separated.
Transportation: hotel transportation is pricier than Uber so can use your discretion. Their airport pickup was seamless, much needed and appreciated after a long flight. My experience with the drivers was awesome, always felt safe and they shared more about the area.
Location: I chose this place mainly because they have restaurant open all day/night long, this comes in handy when you have a late night arrival flight. And they didn't disappoint! They also were close enough to other things I needed to do while in Nairobi.
The breakfast buffet has options for anyone's palette. I tried a little of everything and it all had great flavor. The detox water was pretty good too. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed every meal I ordered, all had flavor and good portions.
Chef George, I think a junior chef and my waiter went above and beyond. Birthday cake and Kenyan dinner was truly amazing🤩!!! I really enjoyed my experience here, again front desk and restaurant staff made my time here so special!!!! God...
Read moreWe had booked four rooms (516, 603, 414, 510) for five nights, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. Below are the issues we faced: No Welcome Drink at Check-in – A basic hospitality standard completely ignored. Unbearable Room Odor – Rooms had a strong wooden varnish smell that made it difficult to stay. Even after requesting a change, the new rooms were worse than the previous ones. Basic Amenities Missing – No hairdryer in Room 510, and shower gel not refilled in Room 414 on one day. Faulty Room Conditions – High toilet jet pressure that had to be replaced, broken light switches, malfunctioning lights, and damaged knobs. Serious Privacy Violation – While I was sleeping, a service staff member knocked once, entered using his key, and started checking items in the fridge without permission. This is a massive breach of privacy and security. Restaurant Issues – Ordered one Paneer Masala, but two were served, leading to a billing dispute that required multiple arguments to resolve. Unwashed mugs with visible stains during breakfast Extremely Slow Dining Service – Ordered food at 9 PM, but it was served at 10 PM, despite being the only diner in the restaurant. Poor Vegetarian Food Options – Breakfast options for vegetarians were extremely limited, and no live counter offered vegetarian choices. Mosquitos inside the restaurant at night Most the TV channels were not working
Just for comparison we had just stayed at Four Points Kampala for 3 days before arriving to Nairobi, and the difference in service and room quality was enormous. Nairobi’s property fails miserably in comparison, and based...
Read moreAfter more than 24 hours of travel, our overnight stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Hurlingham was just what we needed—comfortable, convenient, and restful. We chose this hotel for its proximity to Wilson Airport, where we had an early flight the next morning, and it proved to be the perfect choice.||Booking airport transportation from NBO was easy, and even when I accidentally listed the wrong pick-up time, the front desk was incredibly responsive and helpful. They quickly coordinated an updated pick-up with minimal delay, which was much appreciated after such a long journey.||Because of our early morning arrival into Nairobi (6:00 AM), we were able to check in early for a small fee, which also included breakfast that first morning. It was well worth it—the breakfast offerings were excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit different tastes.||Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough to catch up on much-needed rest. We didn’t leave the hotel during our brief stay due to jet lag, so we opted for dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was convenient, the food was tasty, and service was great.||We were placed on the 6th floor, just below the rooftop bar/restaurant, so we did hear some noise from above, though it wasn’t disruptive for us. That said, if you're a particularly light sleeper, it may be worth requesting a room farther from that area.||Overall, this hotel was an ideal stopover location—offering solid amenities, great service, and a prime location for easy access to Wilson Airport. I’d absolutely stay here again for a similar...
