Road House Grill - Hurlingham — Restaurant in Nairobi

Very slow service. Very very slow.

I will never eat grilled chicken at this place. Whatever they do is nothing close to grilled chicken. Best place for grilled chicken is ROAD HOUSE - Dennis Pritt.

The most annoying part came when we needed to pay the bills. It happened on Friday 29.08.2025, we asked for the bill and were told that the machine was fault so the waitress gave a figure by word of mouth which was 4000+. We paid and left.

We came back on Saturday 30.08.2025; we ate and took some drinks. When it was time for payment, again we were given a figure of 7000+/= by word of mouth. This time we insisted on receipt before paying and guess what, on the receipt the amount was 5000+/= 🤦.

It's a cool lazy Sunday(523pm) and my grilled goat finally makes it to the table. I go to wash my hands and in the corner of my eye i see this one Male employee spank a female employee. The issue here isn't that spanking is right or wrong...... this is their work place. I hope the female employee isn't in a position where she can't speak up. This is wrong behavior no matter how you look at it. Roadhouse needs to educate their eployees about sexual harassment at workplaces otherwise they might be asking for...

The nyama at this place remains outstanding. Roadhouse is a national institution at this point in our history 😂

This location is much more spacious both in terms of parking and seating than the Denis Pritt branch. It was not crowded at all on a Sunday which is still welcome in these COVID-19 times although not so much for the restaurant.

We got wet fry mbuzi with ugali and their consistency over the years still wins me over. Soft, delicious, flavourful . . . I would never hesitate to recommend...
