Bought chicken fried rice. Terrible by all standards.
First of all, there's some weird tasting/smelling spice in this food that ruins everything. I cannot put my finger on what exactly it is, but it ruins everything from the smell, to the taste. It's so off-putting.
Secondly, I never thought something like this existed, but the chicken is uncomfortably OVERcrispy. Almost tough.
Thirdly, why are the French beans raw? And they're completely diced and mixed into the rice so it's impossible to pick them out.
Lastly, why would you use brown rice without indicating so?
I unfortunately couldn't eat past a quarter of the food. I wish it wasn't all jumbled together so that I could just eat the plain rice and put these other unpleasant participants on the side. Even the chicken pieces are hard to get through.

Otherwise really good food and authentic Chinese.... The board outside reads 'yongli' restaurant. Casino opposite in the same compound but haven't been there. Ofcourse-about the price- very reasonable. About AVG-ksh 2k per person and very large portions of food. Only 2 brands of local beers available... Be brave enough to try some Chinese alcohol...

I usually don’t complain but this place is dirty, cockroach infested and on top of that me and my girlfriend were charged 3000KES.
