Bulak Guest House — Hotel in Karakol City

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing!!! Facilities are like new, environment is calm, relax with a garden outside. One note there is no stove or oven.

It’s a guest house so they are around and the man speak a bit English. They were so kind and helped me preparing my backpack for the 3 day Ala Kul lake. At my last day, when I arrived, I asked for one more night and the man told okay but there is a 3 family arriving. That’s okay, I replied. These families with 10+ kids made my stay the best ever… because I ended up interacting with them, doing random games, playing Roblox, etc and they didn’t speak English, I didn’t spoke Russian ;) Thank you so much. This is actually the first time in my life that i am writing a google review and I am only doing this because me and my friends really enjoyed our stay at bulak guest house like in no other hotel/hostel in Kyrgyzstan. The owner was very candid and enjoyed helping us with everything he could. When we had to stop our hike due to a rainy day in the mountains he even took us to a sauna at the other side of karakol for free and arranged everything for us. We were given nuts and honey from the garden and as many tipps about hidden gems in the city as we requested.

Overall great, authentic and very warm experience...

I visited here in the begging of June. Here is very near to central and also very quite in the day time and night time. So it helps me to sleep and relax a lot. Also I’m the evening you can see beautiful sun set from this property the garden is spacious and you can enjoy seeing many plants. Supermarket is just at the corner of street near property. I appreciate their efforts so much. So the Cleanses is exceptional! Owner family is helpful and lovely. Thank you so much for sharing...
