Cottage town D&N — Local services in Karakol City

Great Value Accommodation on the Outskirts of Karakol Pros: Check-in process was very smooth, easy and quick. Owners were helpful but somewhat shy. They spoke both English and Russian. Their young daughter was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and relatively new with modern furniture. Ensuite washroom was clean. There was a private kettle in the room as well as some tea for guests. The room was located in a separate building and was not shared with the owners' house. We could park our car literally in front of our room. Breakfast was not included in the price but could be purchased for the equivalent of 2 USD. We decided to give it a try and it was a good decision. From the menu we could choose items we wanted to have for breakfast. There were 6 choices available if I recall correctly. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. I left the place saturated. I’d definitely stay there again next time I am in the city. Cons: The accommodation is located at the outskirts of the city. It is quite a long walk to the city centre. Having a car makes life easier. The place was pretty quiet, but the walls were relatively thin and we could hear our neighbours from the adjacent room. We got to enjoy this lovely city by staying here for 3 days. The room price is so affordable. We were impressed by the beautiful the garden looked after by the owner, who is also very considerate and friendly. At the time, we were welcomed by an angel - a small brown dachshund that comes by time to time. The breakfast is not included but very abundant by a good price. The guest house is close to a good restaurant and a Globus, and from here we can reach center by just 100som Yandex. Really recommend...
