Duet Hostel is the best hostel we have stayed in Kyrgyzstan! We've done various multi-day hikes from there and each time we came back to Duet Hostel.
The employees are incredibly friendly and nice. We really felt at home. The hostel has a café attached that serves good food and drinks at very good prices. We especially liked the garden in the backyard. Here you could relax very well and get in touch with other travelers.
The dormitory has 12 beds with curtains. There are two showers and two toilets, which are cleaned very regularly and thoroughly. There is a well equipped kitchen and ample seating. There are also separate rooms, but we didn't stay in them. The WiFi is very good both in the hostel and in the café and garden.
You can walk to the center in about 10-15 minutes. The staff will be happy to help you plan trips and hikes in the region. There is a detailed guidebook with all the information for the trips, which is really helpful. The entire hostel is very lovingly and beautifully furnished. There is a washing machine.

There's a ton of room options too, from standard rooms to yurt beds. ||What makes Duet particularly special, though, are the very friendly and knowledgeable team who run the hostel.
