Guest House on Derbisheva — Hotel in Karakol City

Amazing guesthouse!! Very well located! Near to everything. Very close to the bazar where there is the main marshrutka station. There are supermarkets and shops close to the guesthouse. It is located in a super calm and quite street. Sleeping there was very relaxing. We didn't hear any noise, great after a trekking day. Bed was very comfortable. The room was functional, very clean and bathroom and shower worked perfect. The owners are very nice people. Super kind and helpful. They helped us with all we needed. Sergei knew everything about marshrutkas and help us a lot! Breakfast was delicious!! Best choice...

Guest House on Derbisheva isn't a posh hotel but is a genuine experience of living in a local's house. ||||The rooms, shower and breakfast aren't spectacular but the host's efforts (they don't speak English but you have fun playing charades with them) don't go unnoticed. ||||If you want a modern hotel and associated facilities then this may not be for you - but for a genuine homestay experience you can't fault it. Laundry service is available and you'll get plenty of attention from the loving dogs (well one of them...the big fella...

We definitely recommend this guesthouse. It offers an excellent value for money, especially compared to other accommodations in Karakol. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owners are super kind and always ready to help. We did the Ala Kul trekking and they kept our big backpacks for free. The last day the owner even took us to the bus station to help us take the right marshrutka. Also, amazing...
