Friendly Open Happy Humble Clean Cozy

I am staying here for three months as a student in Riga, what a beautiful home and the family I gain as well, while I am here. The staff and owners are welcoming and friendly, they are always ready to assist no matter what I am looking for, learning or need. Hotel Janne, is very beautifully renovated, where history and comfort go together, where a warm atmosphere is a key priority. My room is warm and cozy, the bed is really good and the bathroom. I really feel grateful for finding them and I am convinced that I will enjoy my stay here until Christmas. It´s easy to take a bus to the old town and taxi is just on the corner, and is always available. I feel very secure here and also in the area, where there are beautiful parks and walks. The hotel is quiet and the nights as well, so good rest and recharging one´s "batteries/energy" is perfect here.

It has beautiful antique and very clean place. It's not far from the city centre. I always prefer staying outside of city centre, quite area.

My flight was very late so I arrived at 11pm unfortunately. Reception is available from 8am - 9pm so if you would like to access to the hotel outside of this time, you need to do self check-in, but it was very easy process. I needed to make sure about my reservation so I called them twice, they're very nice and kind, I really appreciate their help. I love the atmosphere of the hotel and it was very clean. What I struggle a bit is taking showers since the floor on the toilet is same floor as the shower parts and it has only curtain. In the room, there are kettle and fridge, microwave, dishes and cutlery, so even if you think you would like to stay in Latvia for long periods, it would be a good place. There's market very close to this hotel, and it has everything. That place has food courts, cafe ...etc But coffee place and small convenience store is also walking distance. If I come to Latvia Riga again, I would love...

I have been in Janne Hotels apartment 2,5 months and it is just a faboulus place to be. You will get a privacy if you want but also service immediately when needed. I can recommend this place for short or long term stays. Very good also for students, because RSU is only 7 min. bus drive away and you don't need to worry rush hour.

Hotel Janne's staff has became a part of my family and when I have needed a help they have always given it. They have been very flexible with all my demands. Place is clean and housekeeping works perfectly. Also the breakfast is real Latvian style with spice of European. It has good connections to the airport and downtown.
