BRAVO JOHNNY PANKŪKAS — Restaurant in Riga

I just love the potatoes pancakes! And potatoes pancakes are the best thing in the area of Āgenskalns. However, this is the one of the WORST customer service ever in Riga. I have been working in hospitality for over 10 years and thought I could not be surprised by how bad the attitude of the employees can be, but for sure, this place surprised me. I never even have the “hello” nor the smile. Every time I come here is just feel like I have destroyed the day for the girls who is working there. And each time I come here and hope that something will change. But sadly no.. You still feel deeply uncomfortable and unwelcomed here. To go out eat somewhere means to have the nice time and feel good, but this place with so called “fast service” does not even have the fast service, nor the service at all. Because I write this while the employee if today saw us standing to order and just picked up the boxes of delivery and disappeared for some 20 minutes. What else to say.. sadly! Not even the great pancakes will save the place. And definitely for me, I will never...

Wanted to try this place twice, but both times, more than 1 hour before their closing time, they said that they are closed. They have a very visible working hours on their counter - from 10-21 and it is just disrespectful for clients to not follow the information you display on the counter. JUST PERFECT!! The pancakes, especially ice cream with berries are DIVINE! And so beautiful. We were a large company, but still didnt have to wait as much as in Vīnkalni pizzeria as 2 people. And the wait was definetely worth it, just look at the photo. Bravo johnny pankūkas is also in the beautiful Āgenskalna tirgus, already a bonus! So five stars for me.🥞 Definetely...
