Mister Fox — Hotel in Druskininkai

Very nice and comfortable! Minimalistic Scandinavian design with touches of local flavor – handcrafted Lithuanian rugs, brightly-painted wooden whistle-blowers on the walls etc. Everything at hand, pretty new, nothing redundant, very nice indeed. As far as I understood, each room has a veranda, those on the ground floor (where we stayed) are roofed - perfect for having meal outside raining or not raining - and may serve as an entrance on a par with the main one (which is super convenient for guests with kids and strollers – like us). The guesthouse also has an inner yard where guests may make barbeсue (we used this opportunity not once:) and there is also a small play house right behind the garage (ideal for kids entertainment!) There are bushes of lilac and jasmine around the guesthouse which were at full bloom during our stay – the fragrance was terrific! And the location – as mentioned in other reviews – is just perfect – in a calm neighborhood but just in 2 minutes from the lake, and 5-15 min of walking distance from supermarkets, cafes and all other advantages that the town can offer you. Wonderful house - one of the best trips so ever, highly recommended! We‘ve spent the Christmas holidays there with my family and other friends - we rented three apartments in the house and all had amazing time there. The city is just lovely, the house is located within the walking distance from everything you might need in the town. The apartments were very clean and had everything you need for a stay and even more. The hosts were extremely helpful during all our stay and we would love to come back again one day. Everything in the house is done with lots of love and guests can feel it through...

Definitely one of the best guesthouses in Lithuania and the best place to stay in Druskininkai. It is very well located (5 minutes from the beach, lovely neighbourhood, walking distance to all the nice restaurants), our room had a terrace (perfect for long sunday brunches). The rooms are very well equiped and give you a warm cozy feeling. We are coming back to this...
