This hotel is ideal for a short getaway or as a convenient base for exploring the city. Located next to Harbour Mall and within walking distance of many eateries, it offers easy access to food and shopping options. The hotel also features its own restaurant, open deck, and sky bar, perfect for winding down with family or friends after a day out. Nearby food options are plentiful and reasonably priced.

We booked one standard room and one family room. However, the family room included only one queen bed and one sofa bed. The sofa bed may not be suitable for individuals with a larger build, as it offers limited comfort for sleeping.

For guests arriving from outside Sandakan and driving their own vehicles, please note that the hotel does not provide dedicated parking. You will need to park at your own risk in public spaces nearby.

The hotel is located in the city center, right next to the waterfront. The area becomes lively on weekends, attracting many visitors. While this adds to the vibrant atmosphere, it also means noise levels can be high at night. Since the rooms are not soundproof, light sleepers may find it difficult to rest, and conversations from adjacent rooms can be easily heard.

Cute hotel in a very central location. The rooms are not too spacious but totally okay and clean, there's a kettle for coffee and tea, enough sockets near the bed and good WiFi. Only a small fridge would have been nice. It's overall pretty quiet, sometimes some street noise or other guests if they're noisy but only an issue for extremely light sleepers. Great breakfast buffet, very varied and daily changing options, nasi lemak and kuning, paratha with curry and made to order egg station are the daily, amazing fruit and also sweets, bread, changing soups for self serve, cereal and milk, juices and several buffet style options, such as fried noodles or rice, sausages and more. Very friendly staff that speak English and can help with transportation or other requests. For a twin room of 2 people, very good price performance. There's also a rooftop with Western food and a small food truck outside next to the sea with a seating deck, sometimes very smelly from the sea but of the breeze is right, it's a nice place. We were extremely disappointed due to the cleaning service. I had a plastic bag with a hair product from Korea and when the room was cleaned it was gone when we came back. I asked the cleaner and she asked if my bag was yellow ( it was ) and if it was under the sink ( it was ), remembered our room number and then smiled said sorry and explained she thought it was trash and threw it. This product weighs about 1 kg so I was surprised and disappointed since it costs a bit and I brought it from far away.

I know mistakes can be made and I don't mind that. However the lack of action after made me disappointed and we locked our bags when leaving and did not allow cleaning. When I explained the situation to the reception and how disappointed I was they just said a short sorry and then bye.

The hotel itself isn't bad for the price ( singers outside every night but they finish by 22) but it felt very sad to have children come and ask for money and food while eating breakfast. This is not the hotel's fault but considering earlier events this made us extremely disappointed and would...
