OYO 1093 Forest Paradise Inn — Hotel in George Town

Visiting Batu Ferringhi is pleasant but expensive for a backpacker. Ali's Motel was a good fit for me to explore this northern side of the island on a budget. It's right next to the Rapid Penang station so you can take the 101 or 102 into Batu Ferringhi for 1.40 ringgit.||||Pros: Good Wifi (even reached the dorm room). Provided towel and small bar of soap. Free drinking water. Staff was very accommodating.||||Cons: Toilet tank pressure is low. Not the cleanest place. Right on the main road so it's quite loud in the public space; in the dorm, noise level wasn't that bad. My bed was ridiculously squeaky. Good value for money. We choose family suite can accomodate 5 people. Located just beside caltex petrol station. Parking spaces provided in front of the motel. Near to escape and entopia. For food u can either dine in at nearest local food stalls/restaurant or go to batu feringgi. U can catch a bus there if u dont have the car. Also near to convenience store. Beautiful nature-filled simple motel to stay at. Great AC and fan. Complimentary coffee and hot/cold drinking water is very convenient. Room has everything you could need. Wifi is weak in the rooms with very few minor repairs like leaky faucet and TV glare. Amazing and friendly staff. Felt we could ask for recommendations or extra pillow and such.
