If i could give this restaurant 10 stars, i would. They 100% deserve it. Such a hidden gem and doesn't break your bank for special events. We decided to celebrate our first anniversary here because we're too lazy to drive to Georgetown from Batu Ferringhi. It was THE best decision we've made because everything was so sooooo good. Our server, Madelyn was friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu and super helpful. From the complimentary bread (to die for), the scallop and salmon tartare, pappardelle, lamb rack, tiramisu, and the complimentary red velvet cake as well, all of them were 10/10 in terms of presentation, flavour, & texture. The onion veloute was a tad too salty for our liking but the flavour was really nice. Also, if you don't consume alcohol like me, they're more than happy to substitute or leave out the alcohol from the dish for you. I highly recommend this restaurant and wish that more people will recognise them and come in the future.

Went to have Burger Lobster dinner. The service was very very bad. The servers will treat u with double standards. My husband and I had 1x Mayfair combo, 1x Lobster Roll, 1x Whole Lobster and two mocktails. The other tables when they arrived were served water...but at my table we had to request after getting the glass water I was served water in a dirty glass and I requested to change. When my food was served no bib and gloves were given I had to request but at the end no bib was given. When we requested the bill it took so long that we decided to pay at the counter. Overall the lobster roll and the whole lobster was good but the french fries were very soft and very sad. the service is very bad.

I thoroughly enjoyed the meals from the amuse bouche, appetizer (the seafood tartar was amazingly good), main course meals. Personally, I preferred their seafood courses - it was different and the cod fish served was well cooked. The server was also professional from her mannerism, hospitability and also the pacing of our dishes (checking that plates and cutlery were changed, checking that the food were served well). It's definitely not cheap but for the ambient atmosphere, service and meals served, I think it is worth going there to treat oneself.

I came here for the Burger Lobster takeover. The overall vibe of the place was great with good access to the beach. Sunset and fireshow were definite highlights. The XO spicy linguini was wonderful. I couldn't taste the lobster in the beast burger. The lobster roll was as expected and the Lobster Croquettes had too much mayo which overwhelm the lobster. The rest of my experience goes downhill from there.

Edited First Visit Summary. They had a full house, restaurant was overbooked and food took hours to arrive despite all the staff being visibly busy and rushed. Some of our items were not prepared properly and rectification took even more time to arrive. Some guests were visibly upset and the atmosphere was tense. You can watch it on social media.

Second Visit. I was invited back as part of a service recovery. This time, the restaurant was considerably calmer and our food came out really quickly. We ordered Spicy Dragon and Laksa in addition to our now favourite Linguini. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, I think B&L's localized menu might taste better then their flagship items. But that's just my 2 cents. I also have a slight complaint about the service staff's attention to detail like not replacing cutleries we needed for dessert after the dirty main dishes were cleared. And insufficient napkins or wine glasses were handed out. Small things they could work on. Overall, I had a good experience and appreciate...

We had a very disappointing experience during our recent visit.

We ordered the medium Mayfair burger, but it was cooked all the way through to well done — completely missing the mark on how we requested it. To make things worse, the ribs we ordered were undercooked and practically raw in the center, which was both unappetizing and concerning from a food safety perspective.

The environment in the restaurant was uncomfortably hot. It felt like there was no air-conditioning at all, and we couldn’t understand why they hadn’t turned it on, especially given the temperature.

Service was also poor — it took 40 minutes just to receive our beer, and when it finally arrived, it had been poured flat, with no foam whatsoever.

Between the poor food quality, the stifling atmosphere, and the slow, careless service, this was an all-around bad dining experience. Definitely not a place we’ll be...
