Hako Xpress Skudai Baru — Hotel in Iskandar Puteri

Book room for 3-4pax. 2 single bed and 1 double bed, with window.

• Pros decent room for the price point and room size (RM 124 per night). chinese and muslim food right beside the hotel. water dispenser available at Lobby and stairway. self check-in kiosk for late check in (staff on standby when we arrived at 12+ midnight). bottled water, cups, towel, soap and toilet paper provided. TV available too. overhead and handheld shower head in bathroom. digital lock for rooms and lobby entry. very friendly front desk staff!!! very responsive and helpful via whatsapp too.

• Cons no lift (our room was at highest floor -- 3 storeys up). no toothbrush, toothpaste provided (understand for the price point). no hair dryer, iron and iron board (not available at front desk too). air con can be a little loud. some stains on the blanket and pillow but generally acceptable. only 1 charging point. sound proof not strong. not suitable for light sleepers. can be noisy in the morning at 8am+.

Parking lot depends, can inform front desk upon check in but parking lot subjected to availability.

Decent room, will book again if cannot find other options...

Horrible queen bed room with no window, room number 8. Noisy Loud old aircon. Run down place. Please do not book. Staff was friendly and nice but room is really horrible. Please do something about it. At least touch up the walls properly and fix the noisy aircon. We check out of the room immediately after 10mins. The staff (male) I must say he have the best attitude and service at work to offer to change a room for us Even we checked in at 2am and was so troubling. He didn’t show any sign of impatience and gave us good attitude. Thank you sir!

He change for us to room 2 at level 1 and all is good, new aircon and clean nice toilet. ❤️❤️ if I will come back to this hotel is only for his service. Not for the room. Hope owners of the hotel Look into this, don’t destroy the image...

The worst budget hotel I have ever stayed. Stayed in a queen room with no window. At first, I think the price of the room is reasonable with the room size and amenities. For me, I just want to sleep comfortably but I cannot sleep all night at the hotel. The bed full of bed bugs and got some “pondan” knock my room at midnight. And got no receptionist to complain at that time. The receptionist only available after 3pm until midnight only. Need to self check out and have to call/whatsapp if you need invoice. When call, they said please whatsapp them the details after 3pm but when I whatsapp them to ask invoice there is no reply from them until now. Just got auto reply only. First and last...
