Arrived after a long drive, company booked us to try this place out after good reviews from others. Checking in was a pain and tense - did not feel welcomed and if not due to the long day spent on the road already, would have moved to a separate place to stay. The lady manning the front desk at the time (Ain) was not only rude but the tone used towards the person who brought us there to check in was truly unacceptable. On the other hand, there are others there that are really an asset to the hotel worth mentioning - I have met and talked to other staffs throughout our stay there (Chinese lady, Jue) - they were really helpful and cheerful. ||Room I was in was tiny but functional and amnesties like hair dryer, and an ironing board in the hallway are good surprises. Despite the smaller room size and not having a fridge in-room, the air con works well and the room is spotless. The surrounding area looked safe enough even at night and a good touch to have a security personnel around in the evening. It’s the end of about 2 blocks from a big Starbucks and 7-Eleven with a cafe selling pearl milk tea just few lots down that operates till midnight daily. Weary business travelers will be glad to find a massage parlor just few steps away from the hotel. ||This hotel has a lot of potential and caters really well to short stay travelers (I would have given five stars honestly) but having to put up with bad mannerism especially it’s the first impression representing the hospitality of the institution leaves a really bad taste...
Read moreMajor issues happened during my stay hence the star. I wish the option of a none star is available.
The phone number provided in the Google Maps is not functioning at all. When I walk in, the attendant mentioned that the phone number is not available to be used at the moment.
Dust Free Award? The moment I reach level 2 where my room is at, it is full of dust. The curtain, the table, the bed itself. What an award aye? And yet they pay Malay influencers because they know that majorly Malay love to travel. Their own race are not having the lavish life to travel like Malay.
Small room for a whopping price of RM148 /Night. The room that I am in is 10 feet size. Mind that I only consider that area with bed that are 10 feet. And the price place for it is indeed ridiculous.
Refer photo, the internet are supposed to be able to be connected before 12.30pm the next day. I am trying to connect the WIFI to my Tablet at 8am and yet it is not connected due to invalid credentials?
I let the front desk name Julie know about the issue and she answered me with
Should I issue you a new one instead? Oh you don't need it as you already checked out of the room and proceed to smirk.
Really Julie? Great Hospitality you have over there. Yet you mentioned that the new housekeeper need to be trained?
You are indeed the one that should be trained.
We checked in late afternoon, went out and came back to hotel after midnight. We booked the one and only Superior room since they said its bigger and will have more space even with extra bed in.
When we were about to settle in, realised the ac was not working well the room was rather warm. And there are plenty of bugs ( kelkatu a.k.a flying termites ) in the room. Called the reception she agree to put us in another room, family room she said but warned us its smaller than Superior. So we said we’ll take it anyway we need the ac more than the space.
Both room were clean and spotless since it’s a new hotel. The ac was working well. But the bed was hard, its like sleeping on wooden planks ( read : new mattress ).
The superior room has a separate shower room with toilet which was a plus point for me. The family room has now view, window which facing adjacent room. But both room has a mini fridge, coffer tea making facilities, toothbrush sets and mineral water bottles.
And I would like to give credits to the girl at the reception who was helping us to change the room at 2am. You’re the best!
A pleasant stay with a minor glitch. Not too...
