We chose De Elements Business Hotel due to its ratings and photos available on the website. I can confirm that the photos are what I'd describe as "catfishing"! The rooms looked like the photos but with 50 years of aging and 10 years of not cleaning. Photos are all attached. We requested to be moved to a cleaner room by the lady at reception who was polite and helpful, the lady moved us to what house-keeping described as the cleanest room! Photos attached. We quickly felt that this was the standard of the whole hotel due to being taken to their best room, alas we quickly fled to another hotel. The manager offered to upgrade our room but there was little point as we didn't care for a larger room, we just wanted a clean one. The manager refused a refund. I would personally steer clear as we've stayed in a few places in Malaysia and this was by far beneath the standard.

Recommended for a short stay for concerts/events at Stadium Bukit Jalil or Axiata Arena. Hotel within walking distance to MRT/LRT Sg Besi. Got a lot of restaurants & convenience stores around the hotel, open till late at night. 2-star rate for cleanliness & facilities. Got : wifi, elevator, hot shower, soap, towels, slippers, cloth hangers x4, electric kettle, instant coffee x2, bottled drinking water x2, TV, adequate electrical sockets, iron at common area. Not : toothbrush/ toothpaste, breakfast buffet, laundry bag, wardrobe. Check-in strictly after 2.30pm. Requires RM50 cash deposit. Room-specific issues: electric kettle barely worked. Table lamp near my bed not working, AC facing a weird angle and NOT towards the bed. AC remote not working properly. Floor definitely not clean, with long hairs scattered around.

This is 2 starts hotel, it should be no star. Stay in superior queen room. First entered room, directly smells strong cigarette smoke inside room, I believe the smoke detector just a dummy. bathroom has nothing, except dispensable shower soap. Aircond autoset at 16c but feels like 28c. The worse ever is, dirty bed with 5 hairs all over pillow and bedsheets. I believe the bed sheet also was not change at all even though it is a this bed sheet. Floor not mop at all. I arrived at night time and very tired, fed up to waste more energy argue with receptionist. Thus, herei am provide the feedback.

This hotel claims to be a business hotel, but we don’t believe it lives up to its claims. ||Our main contentions with this being a business hotel was due to the wifi not working for our entire stay, breakfast only starting at 7:30am and the lack of customer service skills of the staff. After explaining that we needed breakfast earlier than 7:30am we were told that the restaurant that serves the breakfast is a 24 hour restaurant and they would ask if we could have breakfast earlier. We followed up again the morning before we were to leave and were told again that they would check with the restaurant. We asked the restaurant directly and they said it would be fine. However on the day we needed the early breakfast there was no one at the front desk of the hotel to give us our breakfast coupon and the restaurant wouldn’t serve us without the coupons. There was a mobile number at the front desk for us to call and we fortunately had a mobile so we could call them, but it was very frustrating and we don’t know why they didn’t just give us the breakfast coupons when we checked in rather than doling it out to us each day. Breakfast itself was fine. You can choose one of three options for a meal and it comes with tea (the hotel told us it also came with an egg, but the restaurant had removed that option).||On the positive side, it is reasonably well located if you want to be close to transport connections in and out of KL. It is located in a shopping area less than five minutes walk from the nearest train station and just one stop from the TBS transport hub. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the TBS bus terminal, which runs buses to other parts of Malaysia as well as buses to KL international airport, which at 11 ringgit per person is a very convenient way to get to the airport.||We would not recommend walking here from TBS as we found it very difficult to find the pedestrian walkway that takes you across the highway from TBS to the side of the road that De Elements is on. It is only 1.30 ringgit to catch the train one stop to the station closest to the hotel.||Our check in experience was fairly straightforward, although we found the English language skills of the staff was not of the same level as hotel staff that we’d spoken to in other hotels across Malaysia.||The rooms were small but comfortable enough. The towels had a few holes and stains but were serviceable. The bathroom is a little unusual, with frosted glass and a door that swings between the shower and the entranceway. The soap dispenser in the shower is the only soap in the bathroom. ||The first night we were there the cleaning trolley was left in the hall outside our room for a few hours. Our room was not serviced after the first night of our two night stay and we suspected that we needed to put out a sign specifically requesting for our room to be serviced in order for that to be done. As such we only received our two bottles of water on the first night.||There are signs stating that this is a non-smoking hotel, but we saw cigarette butts in an ashtray next to the lifts whenever we walked past and there was a slight smell of cigarette smoke in the halls. There is also a hole in the door to the utilities room.||Overall, this hotel could be improved with friendlier and more helpful staff, providing the breakfast coupons at check in and having a buzzer or intercom so that you can more easily contact staff...

I was recommend by 小红书 to stay here as it is close to Bukit Jalil Stadium. Checked out photos of the hotel on Google as well as booking.com BUT did not check the reviews, big mistake. I really should have. The location is really convenient, and that’s the only good thing about this hotel.

Everything the other users said is true, and the good reviews were most likely written by their staff/friends (as mentioned by another user below). This hotel is among the worst I’ve ever stayed in, a nightmare. We were not even asking for a luxurious stay, but at least have some basic cleanliness.

toilet could not flush sink was clogged, took forever for the water to go down towels stank random stains everywhere: walls, floors, under the table, in the crevices, bedsheets, blanket, and pillowcase. Refer to other reviewers’ photos attached. only two light switches. One small night light in the room and the light in the toilet. cockroach infestation in our room (this is the worst of all). I could put up with everything else, but I’m not sleeping with cockroaches crawling around on the floor. They came out of holes in the toilet wall and we had to call the receptionist who gave us a homemade spray bottle for us to deal with them. They also came out from under the door to the adjacent room.

I see that the reviews made about the toilet and the stains were from years ago, so clearly the hotel doesn’t care enough to do anything about it. We requested for a refund for the two other nights we were supposed to be staying there and checked out the next day. Hope they start taking these...

DO NOT STAY HERE There was a hotel FIRE at 1 AM. All the fires alarms went off and everybody had to run down the fire exits. After sitting outside on the curb for an hour, I decided to go check into another hotel. When I went back in the morning to get a refund, the woman was very difficult and did not want to give me my money back. She said she would not give it back to me because I did not check out. Like she thought I was going to sit on the curb for hours so I could go check out of the hotel when their electrical panel caught on fire. She then tried to tell me that there was no fire and smoke, but she was not there, I was. I went down to the floor and saw it full of smoke. There was no serious danger but it was a fire.

I had to help crying people evacuate down the stairs instead of the elevator, and she tried to tell me there was no fire. This kind of customer service is horrible, I had to fight with her until I got the money back. Completely unnecessary, did not take responsibility for what happened. Simple as that. Would never stay here

Hotel fire, bad service they did not want to refund the money because I did not sit on the curb for four hours like everybody else I went and checked in somewhere else, and one of the money back. Very bad customer service very bad FX just bad all around an...
