Overall experience with just one word, good.
At the time of this writing, the hotel is about 5 years old and managed to survive the pandemic lock down. Surprisingly, it was well maintained too.
Hotel surrounding. You can find a few coffee shops, banks, pharmacies, convenient shops, a computer accessories shop, fast-food restaurants, halal/non-halal restaurants, bars, supermarket etc all within walking distance.
General. There are 3 floors accessible by a lift or elevator. The hotel staffs were very friendly and polite. The room rates were affordable. Car parking is available but can be limited during daytime. Don't know about the CCTV situation for the surrounding though.
About the room Coded keycard to access the room, to activate electricity and room lightings.
The room was fairly spacious, clean and tidy. Door has a double secure lock, a peeping hole, a secure latch.
Has an emergency evacuation plan and procedures (very important) glued on to the door, noting your current location, suggested exit route and available exits. This hotel takes their occupants safety very seriously.
Room has enough lightings to lit up door way, bathroom, toilet and work desk but no emergency backup lighting. So remember to bring along a torchlight in case of power outage.
Has a cabinet like storage area made of wood for luggages with some hangers on top for clothes hanging.
The room has a TV, AC blower with wall mounted controller, an electric kettle, drinking glasses, complimentary bottled water, a small security safe, a small fridge, working desk, a chair, 2 dustbins, enough reachable power outlets for all your powering and charging needs, has free speedy wifi, remember to ask for the access key for usage.
It also has a hair dryer in the bathroom, no ironing board, no slipper, no bathrobe. Has a half sized mirror in the toilet and one next to work desk. The room also has an electronic pest repeller, something unusual and nice to have.
Laminated wooden floor, no carpet which is a good thing for me.
Toilet and bathroom. A single door to access both bathroom and toilet, it is a combo design.
Body towels, floor towel, shower gel, hair shampoo, soap, toilet roll, toothbrushes, razor, comb, dental kit, vanity kit, shower cap all are provided. You have options of normal or hot shower, no bathtub just a shower curtain.
Water pressure was good enough, no problem for washing, brushing and flushing.
Bathroom has an air ventilator, and that is a positive thing.
AC unit. Quiet and efficient unit and was able to cool the room down fast.
Experience. Fairly quiet at night, at least of what I experienced during my stay. Soundproofing level was okay but room for improvement. The bed was comfortable and clean, and throughout my stay, I had a good night sleep every night.
Lastly. Recommended hotel ? Yes, but with notes.
There were bars and karaoke lounge nearby the hotel, and someone told me that it can be noisy during early hours before midnight.
The hotel can get packed and room availability can be an issue, check-in without reservation is not...
