Bobi's Cafe Backpacker Hostel — Hotel in Langkawi Island

A less than average low budget hostel. The location is ok, around 20min from Cenang Beach walking and close to restaurants but the room had squeaky bunks and hard pillows. The lady that works there comes in while you are sleeping to clean the room and wakes you up and is not very nice. If that doesn’t wake you up the noise from the reception area does. The guy that works there is nice though. The room has aircon but no windows that open. They do give you toast with jam for breakfast and water. There is one asian toilet and one western. It's a place that at first seems a bit run down but actually that works in it's favour. Concrete floors mean it's easier to keep clean, and it is clean. I never had to wait for the shower even though there's only one, and the western toilet was always clean.a communal space, good air con. Flimsy style bunk beds but I still slept very well. for a solo traveller, this is the right place for you. just a little walk to go Pantai Chenang. Breakfast are included for the small amount you pay for a bed. cool chilly vibe. the island peps comin to hang out with the guest at noon.. so basically if you don't have plan for the day, there will always be someone to entertain you in this place....
