Overall, would rate this place as the most relaxing, convenient and fun place to enjoy a long weekend.
Points to take note: Buggy service is available till 9pm. In-room pool bubbles will be auto switched off at 7.30pm. Room service is available 24hr Shaded parking is available. Best part, it's FREE. Only 15 min to the town from the hotel. For faster response, customer service WhatsApp group is available. Construction is on going on the left side of the hibiscus. There might be some disturbance, however we didn't experience any.
That's aside before I start pouring my praises, there are a few things I would like to highlight: The room floors were slightly dusty, hence we requested for clean-up service. We booked the room for 3 but only 2 bath robes were provided. Room service is slightly on the higher end in terms of prices. The support rail to enter the pool, is a little shaky. Perhaps some maintenance work required. The couch in the room requires some deep cleaning. We found some dirty stains.
Before I booked this hotel, I heard from a recent guest the swimming pools are not clean. However, the room that I was assigned didn't have such issues.
Food. As mentioned, room service is okay for the availability however its pricey and just basic. Breakfast was good, lots of options from asian, local, western, pastries and so on. I'm sure anyone can find their preference. I have no tried any of the restaurants in the hotel, but there are about 4 restaurants and no reservations is required.
Room. We choose the sky pool villa. Probably a good choice. Out room was on the higher end, hence the view was amazing. There were no noice and we had an adequate amount of privacy. Our room was not hot and we didn't have issues using our pool and patio during the day. The room was large, this also applies to the bathroom(2 raining showers with bathtub). Patio was huge, it could accommodate at least 10 people with no cramping required.
Note: From observation, we noticed the beach villa, had full sun exposure during the day which may not be a preference for some. We also noticed, the beach activities are mostly around the beach villa, especially the banana boat and jet ski. Hence, you may experience some shouting or lack of privacy. However, it's up to the individual. For those who opts for the lower sky pool villa, beware of the birds in the evening. Because they rest of the lighting grills outside of the patio.
Reservation. I made through Agoda. It was seamless and easy. My room came with breakfast. However, you can opt out.
Note: Last checkout time is 12pm. I was advised, some charges will be applied for checkout later than 1pm.
Location. The hotel is very close to the town. We noticed on the way, the are many restaurants as well as temples. Although the hotel is isolated, it has enough activities on site to entertain the guests.
Activities. There are many activities available on site with a small fee. Beach activities for those thrill seeking individuals as well as bike renting, batik painting, pool and gym available. You can also take a long walk through the beach villa to enjoy the sea breeze.
The gym and pool is on the smaller side. Especially the gym, there's not much space around to do any body weight training but sufficient machines are available.
Service. Service was immaculate. All staffs, are very responsive and at your service for any clarification or enquires. They follow up on your needs. From the moment I checked in and till I checkout, I didn't have any troubles.
I rated 4 stars, because of the dusty floors in my room but I would definitely return because of my experience there. My family enjoyed our short but fun stay. We didn't even want to leave.
That being said, thank you for making our stay one of the best trip...
Read moreLexis Hibiscus Port Dickson remains my go-to place to stay — time and time again. Honestly, there’s no better spot in Port Dickson. From the breathtaking views to the spacious rooms, top-notch accommodation, and truly exceptional customer service and hospitality, every stay feels special.
I had a wonderful time once again and would highly recommend staying for at least two nights to truly soak in the atmosphere — the views, the comfort, the service — everything. Only then can you fully appreciate what Lexis Hibiscus has to offer.
We were pleasantly surprised and incredibly grateful to receive an upgrade to the Panorama Pool Villa, which offered a stunning sea view. It was absolutely breathtaking. Watching ships glide by, witnessing the sunsets each evening, and waking up to serene sunrises made the experience even more magical.
Despite the years, the resort remains immaculate — their maintenance is clearly top-tier, with everything still looking new and well-kept. The staff are friendly, professional, and quick to assist.
If you’re staying in the water villas, you’ll be transported by buggy to your room — a fun experience on its own. Along the way, you can take in the unique architecture and feel the ocean breeze.
One of the highlights is the breakfast buffet — it’s included with your booking and offers a wide variety of both Western and Asian cuisines. From waffles, pancakes, pastries, fresh fruits, cheeses, cereals, and breads to nasi lemak, roti canai, siu mai, eggs made to order, and full English breakfast spreads — there’s something for everyone. I especially enjoy having my breakfast outdoors by the poolside, overlooking the beach.
Another huge plus is that every room comes with a private pool, so you can swim and relax in total privacy.
For dinner, I highly recommend Umi Japanese Restaurant, located within the resort. The portions are generous, and the service is warm and welcoming. I truly appreciated the staff for taking us in even at the last minute — their hospitality was heartfelt and left a lasting impression.
Also, a useful tip: Don’t forget to ask about current dining discounts at any of the restaurants within the resort. Sometimes, paying with certain cards can get you a good deal — so it’s definitely worth checking before you settle the bill.
What makes Lexis Hibiscus so special to me is that everything you need is right there. There’s a private beach within walking distance, water sports, a kids' zone and playground, a spa, karaoke, a gym, a main pool, restaurants, cafés, and even a photography corner.
I never feel the need to leave the resort — everything is already there. It’s the perfect all-in-one getaway.
I look forward to coming...
Read moreLexis Hibiscus is always our family’s favorite go-to hotel in PD, a go-to for their 2 king size beds and a private pool in each of their room. Comfy rest and peaceful sleep.
Breakfast spread is good, however there is always room for improvments on the varities (been to other 5-star hotels with wider choices). This time, we picked panorama villa with seaview option (we really enjoyed the evening cocktails).
We initially had a slight problem with the AC picking up very slow to cool down the room at the beginning but all was good after. We later had issue with the water heater, not fuctioning well, called maintenance twice to check on the themostat. Thank you for assisting by dispatching the maintenance personnel even past midnight. Not quite a smooth first day but it was all good on the second day until we received a “visitor” at our balcony.
A monkey visited us, and stayed quite some time at the pool area and drank our juices. Worry for the monkey’s attack, we called the operator and lucky for us the manager on duty was kind enough to offer us to change the room immediately, and our parent requested for the beach view this time cause she said the seaview was a bit boring, dark and too quiet (tho according to the manager on duty, we were actually requesting for a downgrade).
In my opinion, we actually prefer panorama with beach view layout, eventho the bathroom space is limited and bedroom area is not as spacious as the seaview’s, the direct access from the pool to the shower via the steam room is more convienient for family with kids. The beach view is more entertaining especially in the evening and lively at night with the lights compared to seaview (not recommended if you prefer more privacy).
Buggy service is very strong. Probably the management may want to consider placing a little bit more staff (instead of 2) after 11pm. We waited almost 30mins on the queue not knowing none of the staff were aware the queue was quite long, and some of the visitors decided to jump onto the buggy without queuing which left the rest of us felt dissapointed and unsatisfied as we had to argue with them for being rude, cutting queue and the staff could have done better on crisis management by the explaining to those visitors instead of kept quiet and watch the “drama” .
Overall, thanks to the manager on duty, the ever friendly line of staff for the great hospitality and assistance during our stay!
