Long Sands Port Dickson — Hotel in Negeri Sembilan

Long Sands PD ] Fast check in (came in around 5pm) [ ] Elevator is new but not yet operational need to take stairs, seniors and wheelchair bound need extra assistance. [ ] Overall Clean [ ] Vintage furniture from the 80s brings back memories. Decent enough for us both having a good quiet time from the city [ ] View from the balcony for room 202 could be improved if the tree trimmed a bit [ ] Pool [ ] The beach is just stones throw away. Amazing. [ ] Wooden floors for room comfortable for solah (1 sejadah provided) [ ] 2 bedrooms can fit 3 adults and 1-2 children (sofa/extra mattress) [ ] Be mind only 1 bathroom/toilet. Water pressure is very strong i even clean the bathroom floor after every use to get rid of sands after coming back from the beach. [ ] Pantry-coway-couple of plates and utensils [ ] Place more drinking glasses would be perfect (we had only 1 but you can request, heldesk very helpful rectify internet connections) [ ] Large android TV can stream youtube is enough for a quiet wind down or some laughs. Cool. For netflix can log in own account [ ] Airconds work fine and cool. [ ] I didnt open the sliding doors the whole stay just to keep out mosquitos or bugs (read the caution note) [ Tips: Open main door and sliding door for half hour to air the unit and bring some freshener if you like. They do have but it was empty. [ ] Bring beach slippers as the sand is quite rough [ ] Bring fish rod cause i can see people fishing till late [ ] bring slippers if you dont like the sticky tile floors (they dont provide hotel slippers) [ ] Bring hair conditioner if you need also...

Our latest visit was during CNY. Second time checked on here and we are delighted. Now there is pool for kids to get wet. Was once an EPF Apartment /Guesthouse / Training Centre ...newly opened by the new management around three weeks ago. Was lucky enough to stay at this resort at the price of RM115 per night (booking thru Agoda). The apartment has two rooms, a dining area, living hall. Pantry area is equipped with water filter hot and cold, and also a minibar. Apartment is spacious for four of us If you are interested, try search for Long Sands Port Dickson. This morning I searched in Agoda, just to see how fast the price is changing. Rate for one night in early Mac has already gone up to RM200 ++ (the same type of apartment I'm staying now). That's not surprising looking at the apartment and its location...definitely this resort will be another great choice for beach lovers like me.

Beautifully located right in front of the beach, a worthy place to stay for finding calmness and recharging my restless 'brain'.

Early this morning I've experienced watching the sun rises on the east, even now I'm on the west side. What's interesting is the different colours of the skies on my left and my right. View the last two photos. You'll get what I mean.

We went to Long Sand, PD during a weekday of school holiday. Not so crowded and they have beach infront of the apartment. Walking distance. The apartment is very cozy. They have 2 rooms and suitable for family with kids like us.

Plus they provide water dispenser for each room which VERY CONVINENT for family with small kids like us.

The breakfast was okay. RM25/head. They serve complete english breakfast set with sausage, hash brown, baked beans and sacramble egg. They have nasi lemak, roti canai, maggie goreng too.

The only thing that can improve is the kitchen staff can refill the food quickly.

Long sand also sell food for you to munch, starting from 3pm -9pm. But usually finish around 7-8pm.

THE FOOD PRICE VERY CHEAP AND AFFORDABLE.

you can enjoy 5pcs of sausage for 2myr. Chicken drummet for 10myr (6pcs). Fries etc.

The pool is small and slightly dirty. Can improve the cleanliness.
