The service at Wave Dining was exceptional, with the staff displaying remarkable attentiveness, friendliness, and helpfulness. They went above and beyond, offering assistance not only with the menu but also ensuring our experience was picture-perfect, even helping us find the best angles for our photos.
Moving on to the culinary delights, the chef truly deserves accolades! The scallop starter was a symphony of flavors, where the perfectly balanced combination of salad, dressing, and scallops created a harmonious blend on the palate. The crab bisque was a masterpiece of taste, rich and flavorful without being overly salty, and each spoonful was a delightful encounter with generous bits of crab meat.
For the main course, the beef dish was a revelation. The brown sauce was a revelation in itself, offering a delectable depth of flavor, and the steak was flawlessly cooked to perfection. The crowning glory was the seared foie gras, undoubtedly one of the finest I've ever tasted. The salmon, too, was expertly prepared, with its skin crisped to perfection, and the accompanying vegetables were a testament to the chef's artistry.
As the perfect conclusion to our dining journey, the dessert was a true indulgence. The brownie with ice cream was a heavenly treat, and the experience was elevated further with a small piece of floral chocolate and a delightful fruity macaron. Every bite was a burst of sweetness and sophistication, leaving a lasting impression on our taste buds.
In summary, Wave Dining not only offers a delectable culinary adventure but also provides an impeccable dining experience, making it a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking excellence in both service...
Read moreA very mixed experience. It could be great but falls short. The best thing is the staff. Mys and Cherti looked after us so well, and we're so good at their job that it almost made you overlook the negatives. The food is edible and doesn't taste bad but is far from good, and the menu does not represent what you get. The roasted fennel and orange salad is mesculun leaves, and you really have to search for the fennel, and when you find a morcel, it tastes as though it came straight from a jar. The tomato soup tastes like tinned soup with some chopped cherry tomatoes added for effect. The papadrelle sauce and the tomato soup are the same. The beef tornados were definitely the best dish. The atmosphere is also strange. There are way too many tables all too close together and all empty. (I wonder why?) It wasn't helped by the member of staff with a trolley in the corner of the restaurant scraping the plates into a garbage bag attached to the trolley in full view of diners. Surely this should be done in the kitchens and wash up area. Thank you to the wonderful staff who try so hard but are clearly let down by the lack of...
Read moreMy wife and I recently enjoyed a meal at your restaurant during a quiet period and wanted to share our feedback. The service was outstanding. Mr. Mus, Biranda, and Nimalen were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and made our evening feel incredibly special. The food was very good and the quality met our expectations. We believe two simple changes could dramatically improve the fine dining atmosphere: 1: Remove the television playing sports from the dining area, as it disrupts the desired ambiance. 2: Improve the sound system/speaker quality for the background music, as the current sound was distracting rather than mood-setting. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and we hope these suggestions help you make a truly exceptional experience...
