We decided to find a hotel rather than stay with relatives where it would be cramped and noisy.||This was a good choice, after the humidity and heat, when we arrived the reception area was lovely and cool. There were several staff and they were all very helpful. Most people spoke good English which was very convenient and they could help out with any questions we had.||We were on the first floor at the back, this turned out to be very quiet, even over Chinese New Year. ||The room was spacious, a huge bed, with a desk and chair, plus an en-suite with toilet and shower. The en-suite all looked very new, all the tiles were perfectly clean, plus a good size vanity unit and mirror.||The only negative being a leaky shower hose, but given it was a wet bathroom, in that the whole room was effectively the shower tray, some extra water spraying around didn't really matter.||One item we had requested was air-conditioning. This started well for the first couple of days, then slowly faded, so the room didn't really get that cool. We spoke to reception and they adjusted the unit, which worked for a while then faded again. It was cooler than outside, but not chilly, but at least you could get some sleep at night. My main reason for a hotel was to sleep at night, I don't mind being hot all day, but if I don't sleep due to the heat, I am exhausted the next day. I did manage to sleep every night, so that was a huge positive.||This hotel is in Seremban, which is the capital of Negeri Sembilan, so quite a big town, although still a couple of hours drive south of KL. Being out of the big cities, you don't get the big hotel chains, so I would recommend this hotel for a visitor. It is very reasonably priced, right in the centre of town, close to the bus and train station, and has restaurants nearby.||There was free Wi-Fi in the hotel, but it only really worked in reception, however there was a big sofa there, with super-cool air-con plus a TV whilst you surfed.||Helpful staff printed out our boarding passes and offered to arrange a taxi...
Read moreStayed for 2 nights at this hotel. ||Location: 5 Stars|Geat & accessible. If you're hungry, there's a food court (non-halal) that's a few shops away from the hotel. 7-11 is roughly 3mins walking distance.||Cleanliness: 4 Stars|Great but with minor flaws. Great as it's newly refurbish (hotel lobby & room). The room is brightly lit which is a good thing. The flaws are the ants, the stains on the bed sheets & bath robe. Ants crawled onto my leg, laptop & hand while I was sitting at the desk doing work. 1 ant is fine. If at least 5 a night then it's a problem. If you killed it there's this strong pungent smell similar to pesticide. So it's a hassle to keep washing it off when you kill it. Stains on bedsheets are pen marks & black dusty dirty stains were on the bath robe as if it's left there for quite a while.||Price: 3 Stars|Price is a lil too premium for such a hotel in Seremban. I would consider this more of a premium hostel than a hotel.||I wouldn't mind staying here again as the minor flaws are fixable.||Note to owner / admin of the hotel:|If you are reading this, please train your staff to ask your customers to put on their mask while entering the premise to keep your employees & your customer safe especially during such pandemic. I was by the front desk checking in and this person came in to the hotel asking for a room. Worse of all, he wasn't wearing any mask the whole time yet cough a few rounds & standing not even 1 meter away from me. This is extemely uncomfortable. Do required your customers to put on their mask...
Read moreWe had the biggest room with the bathtub. The stand for the tap is so wobbly that if you are rough with it, you could snap it off. The place is very noisy. We don't turn on the air conditioning at night as it's quite cool but you can hear the compressor of the air conditioner for other units outside. So it's quite noise. You can also hear the next door having a shower. The reception staff are quite helpful and friendly and the location is very close to lots of eateries and a 99 supermarket. Very easy to get around by GRAB. Just beware that the maps are not that accurate. Certain places are not accurate so pickup could be an issue. There is no door to the toilet or shower, just a draw curtain. So the smell and the steam stays in the room. One think noticeable is the air freshener that seems to be on 24/7 to mask any bad odour. The smell can be overpowering and there is no windows that you can open. Just a big round glass to let the light in. Bottled water is available freely and there are some free snacks for you to take. We stayed for 4 nights and the price we paid waa quite expensive compared to what we could have got staying in KL sentral. The bed location could be better as the air conditioner air blows directly on to you as you sleep and the quilt doesn't quite cover you all the way so you could be quite cold. We don't have the air-conditioning on at night for...
