We came here for breakfast on a weekday morning. Since we arrived around opening time, we managed to get a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. It’s an old shop, but the general cleanliness of the dining area was still acceptable. However, the toilet is quite old, and cleanliness could definitely be improved.
An aunty took our order, but unfortunately, she wasn’t very friendly or helpful. As it was our first visit, we weren’t sure which noodles were available that day, especially since some are only served on certain days. When we asked, she responded curtly and rather impatiently.
We ordered the Pork Trotter Noodles (RM12.00), Mutton Noodles (RM16.00), Dumplings (RM2.60 each), and Wantan Soup (RM1.00 per piece). The Pork Trotter Noodles were average, and the mutton in the Mutton Noodles had a very strong gamey smell. The noodles also had a pronounced coriander taste, and both dishes were garnished with coriander. The dumplings contained coriander as well, so it may not be suitable for those who dislike it. The dumplings were quite pricey considering the ingredients, and the wantan was just average. Overall, the food was below average to average at best, and the prices were slightly on the high side.

Read morehard to find parking, shop lot is quite cramp, not suitable is going with wheelchair person, lots of table though, ordering is quite fast, food to table is about 10 minutes or so, staff is friendly, no air conditioning but is not too hot because they have blind curtain at the front of the shop, this is my absolute favorite place for wantan mee, there is 2 choice of noodles, the normal egg noodle and "po choi" noodle. as for the type of condiments, all are good. my personal favorite is standard char siew with wantan, spicy minced meat. noodle is springy, the sauce is just nice, not too salty and not too sweet, wantan is not so great, but the char siew is nice n juicy. takeaway is usually in plastic container, price is a bit higher than usual wantan mee stall. they have a nother branch at S2, taste the same to me but some have told me not as good as...
Read moreHaving trained hard on Gunung Angsi on Sunday, I woke up this morning with a hankering for some wonton mee. Searching for some place convenient, this place popped up! It was only a five minute walk down - and fortunately I found a table. Cute little traditional chinese shop with some old trinkets, cameras and photos mounted on the walls. Ordered a small plate of wonton mee (RM9.50) and chinese tea (RM0.50). Service was sufficient. Verdict: A solid 3/5 from me. A decent plate, but with premium pricing the portion was lacking and taste not up to my favorite in Glenmarie Shah Alam (cheaper too)....
