Hotel Agro Raub — Hotel in Pahang

I have stayed at this place twice within the past several months.||||Let's start with what they do well at this place:||1) room size - the room is a good size, depending on what you have booked.||2) location - convenient, easy to locate, and ample parking. Easy access to shops as it is at the edge of the town||3) parking - ample parking||4) hospitality and service - great service at the counter. Friendly and hospitable||5) good mattress||||||Not so good review:||1) housekeeping - I will give this a 1 out of 5 for both stays. The floor does not seem to be vacuumed well, with hair (of all kinds of length) in the sink, bathroom, and entrance.||2) edges of the toilet and sink are not cleaned well. You can see dirt formation behind the toilet as well as the water outlet in the sink. A good spray of bleach and a good scrub may do the job. I have seen several times where the housekeepers just sweep the floor without mopping or even vacuuming.||||The first time I stayed there, I did ask for a change of room thinking they lack the staff to clean. It was after all right after the lockdown. But to experience it for the second time was...

I took Junior Suite (2 Queen Bed) for only RM100 through agoda. Not bad. Very clean. Shower was nice! Waterflow was goood. My parents love the shower and the bed. Seriously good for long travel. Theres iron facilities n water dispenser at each floor. At the lobby, there is a mini shop for titbits. Coffee machine, RM1 per cup. There is a parking space provided too. Not much, but okaylaa. The staff was so friendly too.

Downside: no lift/elevator, inconvenience for my parents.. 😅 No restaurant nearby the vicinity area.

Overall, it was okay....

We had a 60th birthday event there. Price inclusive deco, PA system and arrangement. Highly recommended. Puan Ida a very helpful and friendly staff at the front desk helped us with the booking and the event management. She is good. You may contact her for future bookings. The rooms in the hotel are big and nice for family stay and ample of parking available. Highly recommended. Look for Puan Ida when you get there. I am sure will be happy to assist you.
