Hotel Seri Pauh — Hotel in Penang

Check in time at 2pm...went there with hubby & son..||Waited about 15-20min for receptionist...||We booked our room through booking.com..but,shocked when the staff said there is no reservation under me or my husband name...even we showed confirmation email as attached...||But then,the staff said there is still available room..family room...i thought it is the same room that i have booked...but no...family room with no window..!||The room is no 003, comes with 1 single bed & 1 queen bed... no amenities for bath soap, no iron, small bathroom..& we have to go to counter to asked for towels!the door, not quite locked...hhmm not secure..||I just dunno who to blame for...either booking.com or hotel...

Last night I came back from Langkawi Island. Me and my friends were looking for a place to stay near Permatang Pauh area. It was 4.00 am in the morning. Most of the hotels around charges RM80 and above for a short stay. Thank god I saw this hotel from the road and we stopped by. Without we asking for any discount, the guy at the receptionist said "I'll charge only RM50 for 3 person since you guys check in so late."||We were so grateful meeting this guy and the room was very clean. Very perfect place to stay! Comfortable bed, cheap, friendly staff, satellite TV, air cond, everything perfect! I still can't believe this guy gave us special...

Nice place to stay if you are on a budget trip. The room is nice to sleep n rest. Dont expect to much from the toilet, they only provide a tiny bar of soap. They provide kettle and mineral water. The room i stayed was with a tv....but i did not bother to switch on as was not in the room. They provide iron on each floor outside the room so it could be shared with other tenants. Would come again to sleep n rest as my business is always short here. Location is great as it has lots of restaurant nearby, near to Mydin Mall, cu mart, family mart, 99 speed mart...
