OYO 301 River Inn Hotel — Hotel in Penang

Very basic. Bottled water only on the first day only. No toiletries beside toilet paper and a small bar of soap. There was a towel on the first day but it looked a bit old and was never changed. Room wasn't made up or cleaned ever during our 4 day stay. Widows wouldn't close properly. One of the owners was friendly - all were helpful. Furniture was basic (at best) - There was one stool and an old desk. Maintenance had obviously been kept to to bare minimum too. Booked the room through OYO website, but it seems like the old uncle didn't reserved our rooms accordingly, but gladly they have rooms for us that night. My room is moderately clean, clean bedsheet and towel, comfy pillow, well-functioned toilet, I slept quite well throughout the 2 night stays.
