New Town Hotel Puchong — Hotel in Subang Jaya

This hotel is totally hopeless can not qualify to be single star at all.

I booked this hotel theough Agoda at 23/8. My experience occurred during I checked in this hotel at 25/8 , 530pm, my room is 1 queen bed and 1 sjngle bed....the counter Mr adham trying to bring 3 of us to min 2 rooms located at floor 2 and floor 3 but giess what bothe rooms arr not ready and dirty and not even the matress was changed.

Without choice, we have to cancel this hotel and since we did not check in due to room unavailable and they promised to refund rm82 (minus agoda rm18 charges )on next day Sunday (26/8).

However the refund was not done till I went to confront with them this morning (4/9) and both boss and reception trying to avoid refunding and the hotel owner don't pickup the calls and cut off my phone call after 2nd attempts. Is it a right way for those to support your hotel business?

Hotel environment is bad and smell of chlorine smell, the entrance is dark and lift is poor in condition.

To all puchong friends, please don't consider this hotel anymore but perhaps go further up bandar puchong areas has better choices of hotel instead. Just want to share my experience...

Price: It was quite cheap but do make sure you have cash in hand. As the deposit is needed even after you paid online.

Service: The registration is abit slow, but it is expected as you get what you pay. Overall, still ok.

Room: The room condition looks quite decent. Apart from the television that is barely working (blurry image for all channel) and the slow activating air conditioning. If the weather is hot, then you need to wait a long time before you can cool down. The room can be cleaner too.

Location: The train station nearby (5-10 min walk) and there is a convenience store just beside the hotel. That was it. There is nothing else. Please be prepared as you might need to have your dinner somewhere else and try not to travel alone in the night.

Overall: It was an ok hotel. To stay for a day was fine for me. Any longer than that might not be advisable. If they improve on the room condition, then you can consider to...

This is a really unsanitary hotel. The monthly price is cheap, so I came once and regretted it even though it was expensive for one day. This is not a place to stay long. The toilet seat cover looks like it hasn't been changed in over 10 years. The bathroom is especially dirty, and it seems like they hardly clean it at all. The water quality is really bad, and the hot water doesn't come out well. There is no Wi-Fi. I only used data. I really don't recommend it. I recommend it only to those who don't need Wi-Fi and don't care about hygiene at all. You can't catch a taxi when you leave. The location is hard to find. The good thing is that there is no mold and no bugs. The only thing is that the room is spacious.
