Santinos Pizzatalia — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

A complete RIPPED OFF. Unless you have no other choices or pizza joints have gone extinct near your area. This place has just opened a few weeks ago and they have their promotion banner "New Opening Promotion - BUY 1, FREE1" hanging right in front of the shop. Just like a "CLICKBAIT", we entered the shop it was empty with no customers and we asked the waiter about the promotion. We were informed that they have no longer offered the buy 1, free 1. Okay fine with us. Then we browsed through their menu - RM29 for a personal size, RM58 for a regular size and RM69 for a large size pizza. To be honest looking at those prices we started to compare to pizza joints like Pizza Mansion, Patty & Pie and even Italiannies, yes this shop seems to be overpriced. So we decided to give it a go, perhaps we were putting high hopes in this shop. So we ordered 1 regular classic italian pizza and 1 beef lasagna. All we can say that THIS is NOT a pizza. The dough wasn't baked, topping taste like it was straight out of tomato sauce jar, canned mushrooms and cheese taste just the average cheddar no mozzarella. It was really disappointing! Located nearby Caltex at a row of shops. Ordered lunch pizza combo -pizza with drink. Pizza is very cheezy( cheese used is the quality ones) but base need more tomato sauce as its a bit bland but luckily for the tasty cheese. Clean area but the chairs and tables are gigantic. Perhaps added table for 2 in some arrangement for those that dont occupy the whole family tables. The shop inside need a bit of warm arrangement maybe some cushions. The door of kitchen should be closed from the sight of outside customers. Met part timers very diligent and attentive. There no need to have a blower dancer as my opinion is not helpful but rather the wire cables at the sliding door posed a danger. The parking is a put off to me as l worry of the cost on time spend. Overall restaurant although quiet but is spacious and signage need more brighter lighting. Lastly what is your signature perhaps a highlight of it...

The pizza crust here is not too thick, or too crispy. It is just nice the texture of the pizza crust. Overall the pizzas there taste fairly good compared to Dominos and Pizzahut, as well as the environment is cheerful and light when compared to Pizzahut and Dominos franchises' interior design. With the exception of its pricing, it is totally lost when compared to the nationwide franchise - Pizzahut. Should they be cheaper in pricing by providing a more budget option for those of living nearby to patronize in the restaurant.
