Condominiums La Paloma Beach — Hotel in Baja California

This is a beautiful community situated on the ocean front. Stunning views with easy access to the beach. We have been coming here for many years, but recently it seems that there must have been a change of management as in the past two months we have found an increasing amount of dog poop and cigarette butts left around the community and trash lying in the grass areas and the parking lots. Also there is rebar sticking out of stairways where the concrete has crumbled and worn and this is a danger to visitors, unfinished rock pathways, cars with deflated tires and landscaping areas left barren. When we visited this past weekend there were overflowing dumpsters of trash that were immediately visible on driving in where the trash used to be hidden behind gates. On Sunday before leaving we went to do washing in the guest laundry and the washing machines were filthy with months of caked on dirt. In the past this place was well maintained but the administration, staff and management seem to have lost interest in maintaining the grounds of this beautiful place. The complex is very nice , the other guests were welcoming, was very disappointed that I had to park my vehicle outside the gated complex was never at Ease constantly walking to the front of large complex to check on my car parked outside. Was denied a guest parking pass despite abundance of empty guest parking spots visible during my stay, reserved with air b n b , owner told us 2nd car parking space was at the discretion of la Paloma office and front security, when I arrived security informed us it was the decision of the Hoa office, when we asked them they said they do not deal with the unit we rented due to it being an air b n b and they don’t handle that unit, when brought to their attention if a toilet breaks or power went out in unit would they take|Care of it then, they would look into serious issues only, I rented a 8 person house and brouht elderly family members never imagining the resort would deny me an extra parking space and the security hoa and air b n b owner playing the blame game resulted in a poor experience for my trip, dishonesty and rip off artists poor practice for luring more...

DO NOT! Book a stay at La Paloma under ERNESTO BRICENO. Take my advice because I wish someone would've given me a heads up. I've never written a bad review until now. I am very disappointed with my stay and the lack of customer service Erntesto has. He is Fraud and will keep your security deposit until you beg him for it. He has a huge attitude and will hang up on you everytime you give him a call. He does not care about his clients. He is a SCAMMER. Please take my advice you don't want to be a to be put through what I was put through. He gave me the wrong key to my room I didn't receive it until 7pm when I was there at 3pm for check in and did not want to reimburse me the night either considering it was his fault.
