I fell sick while traveling between Mahahual and Chetumal, I needed a place to rest though I hated the idea of spending a couple of days in Chetumal. In the end, it worked out well. We took ADO from Mahahual to Chetumal and the bus terminal was super close to the hotel. The hotel was super close to the Museum. There was a pharmacy next to the hotel... all very convenient. The staff was friendly and there was a guy working there who was super helpful. He helped us find Marlin Espadas, so we coordinated our bus to Flores through him.. He really went out of his way to help us. When the agency was closed he called, and made the arrangements for us early in the morning. Thank you!! ||Otherwise, AC worked the room was clean, it was your basic private room. Unfortunately, the wifi didn't really work from our room, but there was a common area over the reception desk and you could sit on the couches...

**There was lots of hot water
We stayed in a room with a fan not ac, during August. When they just showed us a room they showed us one that didn't even have a window. We asked to see one with a window, the window was towards the path of the main entrance (not facing outside, but into the building). We decided to take the room because the guy at the desk said it was 200 pesos and we thought the fan would cool us. The guy as it seems doesn't speak English too well because he charged us 300 pesos. It was so hot I couldn't sleep the whole night, my partner woke up with a headache. And if that's not enough the room smelled horrible and there was no seat...
