I don’t like to leave low reviews but I must warn my fellow travelers. So I had to stay here because my friends made a reservation here. They charged $70.00 per night. I thought ok, looks safe and clean from outside. When I walked in I was stunned, I thought there was a mistake. The room looked like a $20.00 max room and frankly I was even afraid to shower. Worst thing was the drain under the vanity was open and every now and then it would smell bad. Good luck using TV, you need to work for NASA to know how to use two remotes to get one channel to change. The pool was open till 1am with women and children screaming playing while we tried to sleep. Breakfast NOT included. There is a $20.00 upfront key deposit for a .50 cent key. I’d pay $20.00 max for this room if I’d seen the inside first. I paid because I didn’t know and expected more but look around first. You have me to warn you. Though the staff was very nice, I’d encourage the owner to step up it’s game for those $70.00 nights and invest in his...
Read moreThe Good: The staff was great. Everyone was great. It's a new administration and they are trying hard. Very helpful and always smiling. The location is a couple of blocks from the pier and a couple more from where the action is. Less than $1.50 dlls Uber ride to and from everywhere in Ensenada. Very cold beer (-3 degrees) in the restaurant. Good wifi, good water pressure and temperature, enough towels, nice remodeled room (they also have cheaper but older rooms), and ocean view (partial from our room).||||The not-so-good: The underground parking is small, so we found an empty spot and used Uber to move around Ensenada. The pool was empty and the bar being used as a warehouse. The bed, pillows and the bed linen could be softer. The AC was a somewhat noisy window unit, but nothing we couldn't tolerate. ||||But nothing from the bad prevent us from having a great time. We surely stay with them again in a future trip...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel years ago and it was nice. That has greatly changed. First the good things: Nice Staff, secure parking, wide-screen TV. Yes, that's it. This week-ends trip showed me the following: Torn shower curtain, film of dust over everything. Burn marks on furniture. Holes in sheets and bed-spread; Closed and empty pool; Closed bar; Closed restaurant; Undependable hot water; torn sheets; worn and thin towels; grout in bathroom is black; No service carts to move luggage; No rod in closet area; Dirty carpet; Birds roosting on top of air-conditioner leaving droppings that had not been cleaned in months if not years; cracked window, and I could go on. I will never stay at thins hotel again! Virtually all the pictures shown on their web-site are lies or grouse...
