This place was great! Visiting from California and Google Maps suggested this place. It’s a shack in the middle of a semi-empty street so we were hesitant but they were busy and we decide to try it. I do NOT regret it! They are open Wednesday - Sunday. $20 pesos for ceviche tostadas. They were yummy! The coctel de camaron (shrimp cocktail) had three prices. Small ($100 pesos) Medium ($150 pesos) and Large ($250 pesos). I had 4 tostadas and the medium coctel de camaron and I was beyond full! 6 oysters for $90 pesos. Lots of hot sauce too! Most importantly, they seemed relatively clean and friendly.

Today was just not the day to try out new places. Very disappointing indeed. This was pit stop #3. First stop was La Cocina de Esthela, the second was Careta La Dona and finally this place. My partner got a large cocktail and mixed tostada for a total $360. The cocktail was bland and the ceviche on the tostada was not edible. Out of all three places I would not visit any of them again. I’ll stick to El Guero. At least I know I’ll get a good cocktail. As always give it a try you may or may not like it. Added the only picture I took since the food was so not worth it.

This sea cocktail deserves the highest ratings, the greatest attention and the best words. The last time I was in Mexico was 7 years and during these 7 years I have visited quite a few countries, but nowhere, in any luxury 5-star hotel in the world, have I eaten such a delicious, fresh, soulfully prepared sea cocktail. They also gave us fresh oysters with lime for change. These oysters would be the envy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, they were so fresh, large and very tasty. Guys, if you're in Encinada, the Coyote family truck is a must see.
