Casa Tomasina — Hotel in Guerrero

10/10 Would recommend a vacation to Casa Tomasina! Our group was excited to visit this house just based on the website pictures. But the pictures absolutely do NOT do this villa justice. It is gorgeous from an architectural perspective, with incredible art throughout. It was also surprisingly spacious and because of that, very well laid out for a group vacation. The pool and main living area were our favorite places to hang out, but each suite was also incredibly comfortable and spacious, and there is even a TV room (if you can pull yourself away from the stunning views). As gorgeous as the villa is, the Staff is what made our experience truly special. Leslie the villa concierge, was incredibly helpful and made sure we had anything and everything we needed throughout the day, Joe also made sure the house was exactly as it should be. The housekeeping staff kept everything immaculate, even the pool area/towels. Last but not least, the chefs made THE most incredible food each and every day. At the end of our trip almost every single person said that the food at the house was the highlight of the trip. Five stars all the way! The sweeping views of the bay, the sunrises, and spaciousness of this villa are difficult to convey. Many times the pictures are usually enhanced and don’t always accurately portray a property but I believe that photos don’t do Casa Tomasina the justice that it deserves. The property is spectacular, the pool immense, staff service over the top and the chef Herbie was superb. There are not enough words to describe this extremely relaxing and beautiful property. We hired a bartender(Axel) at a nominal fee who was so attentive and made delicious poolside cocktails for us. We had a group of 10 adults that consisted of family and friends and we were all blown away by this experience. Leslie was our concierge if you will and Joe was there every day to assist in any way he could. Maria was the ensalada maker extraordinaire and the culinary talents of Herbie were on full display. I could have spent every moment poolside, enjoying the views, sounds of the ocean and waiting for the next wonderful meal. The citrus salad was our favorite and don't pass up Herbies pancakes. The villa was perfect in every way and the staff was even better. Cold AC in the bedrooms and everything so clean. We loved being able to have a massage onsite ($50) or grab a cab to town ($6) and the Turtle Release was a highlight. We rented a small boat for $30 that accommodated four people to motor us around the shoreline and past the villa and over to Las Gatos Island. We enjoyed a great dinner out at Banditos (pesto fettuccini with grilled shrimp) then had fun walking past all the vendor shops. I would definitely recommend Casa Tomasina and their 5-star staff.
