Don't know where to start with this one. The only decent thing about this restaurant in our opinion was the view...which was just okay. Finding this place is a little tricky. It sits hillside, but the weird thing is there is absolutely no signage once you have arrived. The entryway looks more like an entrance to an unkempt home rather than a restaurant. As for the food, we ordered 12 oysters and a shrimp cocktail. The oysters were okay. Didn't seem extremely fresh. The shrimp cocktail was diced onions and tomatoes more than anything else. Again absolutely nothing special! As for the service, if you can call it that, very poor, non- attentive attitude. The young woman who was serving us not once checked or asked if we needed anything else or another beer. At one point she sat down at a counter in the "front of the house" and whipped out her cellphone and proceeded to check her messages, Facebook, or whatever. My better half noticed that the only other occupied table was also receiving poor service by the young man attending it. As we exited the restaurant we both saw why. He was actually outside, sitting on a retaining wall and also using his cellphone. To say the least the service was pathetic and the food very mediocre. Don't believe the hype like we made the mistake of doing.

Had some fresh sailfish we wanted cooked and this was the correct place. 3 different ways with rice and vegetables plus a shrimp broth starter. Everything was so good along with the service. Also get fresh tortillas and an alga salad, no clue what it was but it was good. Cannot believe how low the price was, they only charged us $200 pesos to prepare for 5 people. Had to leave some extra money as they charged too little. Need to come back and try...

Only place in zihua to get percebes ( in se ason). Rustic restaurant high on hill at north end of zihua bay. The taxis know how to get there. You will likely wait 15 minutes for one to come retrieve you.

Food is very good. Definitely should try percebes, pulpo Leo. I got fresh lobster which was delish. I had stopped trying to get lobster in zihua as it was so often frozen and lacking in texture.

Definitely worth the effort. We try to make it...

We had coconut shrimp, lobster in garlic sauce, stuffed fish and fish soup. And a dish called camaronillas (shrimp tacos). They always serve a seaweed salad its fun to eat. Go around mid-afternoon, sit in front of the fan and enjoy your food and beer. Great views too from the overlook seating for a single person or a family! As far as price goes, we ordered extra plates but you can get away with 100 pesos per persona..
