Hotel San Lorenzo — Hotel in Jalisco

Pros: Clean big rooms, nice local family, friendly and budget friendly (400 pesos per night for a double room.) They also had a free water fill station which was awesome to refill our personal water bottles with safe drinking water. Cons: Wifi was intermittent and much harder to connect further back in the building. The bed we had was a bit older and was definitely feeling its age. The sheets and bedding were a little loose and frazzled as well. The bathroom could definitely use some updates. Would stay again. Was easy and one of the more quiet places I have stayed in Mexico. Would recommend that they put one Wifi router upstairs at one end and the other downstairs at the other to help with...

Fuimos en tour a barra de navidad y nos tocó hospedarnos en este hotel.

1.- La habitación está, pues bien, se podría decir, por el precio que se paga (no sé en cuanto esté la noche pero me imagino que es barato) 2.- El baño está muy pequeño, para poder sentarme en la taza tenía que sentarme de lado por que no cabía (mido 1.87 mts) 3.- Las puertas les hace falta mantenimiento, cuesta trabajo cerrarlas y abrirlas. 4.- Unas personas con las que íbamos nos contaron que había cucarachas muertas en el baño 5.- Había residuos de bigote en la regadera 6.- Algunas partes del techo está a punto de caerse, las cuales pueden hacerte algún daño. 7.- El ventilador hacia un ruido muy fastidioso, estaba todo oxidado y se movía mucho, por suerte nuestra habitación tenía aire acondicionado pero teníamos que pagar $100 por noche para que nos proporcionaran el control del mismo.

Un hotel en la playa lo mínimo que debe de tener es aire acondicionado, aún que aumenten sus precios, por que sin el es muy difícil poder dormir y estar en la habitación.

Por último, tuvimos un detalle con la recepcionista, al momento de irnos y entregar la llave, nos quería volver a cobrar el control del aire y un repuesto de una llave el cual ya se lo habíamos pagado la noche anterior. Para que pongan atención en eso, y pidan nota de cualquier cosa que paguen para evitar este tipo de situaciones.

En fin, como conclusión no me volvería a hospedar en este hotel, hay otras opciones también cerca del malecón y la playa....

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for in Mexico. Don't be mistaken by the term, "Budget Hotel". It is very clean, the beds are remarkably comfortable, the ceiling fan kept the room cool, no need for a pool with the ocean a block away, it is close to all the shops and restaurants and it is situated on a very quiet street. The family that runs the hotel are wonderful people and made us feel "at home". We would definitely stay...
