Restaurant Bar Ramón — Restaurant in Jalisco

I lived in Barra de Navidad full-time for 11 years and the restaurant Don Ramon was always one of my favorites. He isn't a cook he is a chef. I just had a good Caldo de Polo which is a chicken soup. So delicious! I have never in my life except at Don Ramon's and one little restaurant in the Wilds of Michoacan tasted a chicken soup the tasted as good as this one.

The restaurant is very very clean the bathrooms are spotless the food is delicious. They don't have air-conditioning but they have lots of ceiling fans and floor fans that they turn them on for you. it's just a wonderful warm welcoming place...

We spent most of our time on the outside patio, which consists of four tables perfect for Dave and I since he’s in a wheelchair it is handicap accessible.Ramon food is always just right hit the spot huge menu and I mean huge breakfast lunch dinner he seems to be always open and if you want to enjoy yourself, relax have a cold anything this is a place to go right across from Hotel Barra where we are staying can’t get any more. I do not understand the good reviews, we had dirty plates, old dried out pica pica, the food was not prepared nicely and looked like someone threw it on a plate (Which was also not clean) with great disinterest. the limonada was not prepared fresh, and we ordered natural and got mineral.

And it is pretty expensive considered the quality. The service is okay, but for the rest: not my place. And they can't even get your order right.
