Barra Galeria de Arte & Restaurant — Restaurant in Jalisco

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Barra de Navidad. Each year we go back and we get the same excellent food and service.

Robert and his wife Rosie (the chef) have created a wonderful space to enjoy dinner. It is warm, welcoming and inviting. From the minute you walk in you feel like you are at home.

The menu is limited which is what I think makes the food so delicious. Everything is prepared upon ordering and is extremely fresh.

They always have stuffed chili relleno on the menu along with one other dish. The chile relleno is stuffed with either shrimp, chicken or beef, it just depends on what is on the menu that night. It is so amazing that it is the only thing I have ever ordered!

Robert is a tequila connoisseur and has over 100 tequilas stocked in his incredible tequila bar. He has incredible knowledge and makes excellent tequila recommendations and always willing to sit down for chat about the wonderful world of tequila.

Robert and Rosie run one of the best restaurants in Barra. Beautiful garden setting and amazing food. They only serve two entrees nightly but they are always delicious. They have 100's of tequilas, craft beers and an extensive wine list.

This food was fabulous! There were two different choices on the menu and we tried both and they were both good however, my favourite was the shrimp stuffed pepper. The owner came over and introduced himself and welcomed us. He was very hospitable. The atmosphere was great and so was the entertainment. We complete the evening with a complementary tequila shot and marshmallows that we toasted on a small fire in the outside by the entertainment. You need to make a reservation. We will definitely...
